The basic idea is fill in a table for a matching path. If the last pair
matches, the whole string will match.
mtch is the array, which is of (string length + 1)*(pattern length + 1).
mtch[0][*] and mtch[*][0] is padded with false.

分析一下CMG报名较多的IM，Path
IM，
总的IMG（US IMG+FMG）申请人数：6296，
match上的FMG，1335， match率占总IMG的21.2%
match上的USIMG，470
因为不知道到底有多少USIMG申请人，如果刨开这部分USIMG也许FMG的match率可以达到
30%

Been working with Match for a few weeks and thought I would post a FAQ type
response here to what I see people asking over and over again.
1. When you enable Match it goes through a three step process. Analyzing
your library, matching songs, uploading non-matched content. It does this
for your whole library. You can't choose to exclude songs other than taking
them out of your library.

发帖数: 195 | 22 2012的IMG match的结果出来了，还是比较encouraging的。所以咱CMG还是要有信心。
实际情况估计可能没有听到的那么困难，当然了，肯定不容易。考个考谱的分数，
whole package，加上语言，social能力还行的话，希望还是有的。
想当年自己准备的时候总是觉的困难重重，缺乏信心和信息。 希望这个信息对咱CMG,
尤其是刚开始准备的童鞋是个鼓舞，呵呵。

发帖数: 2180 | 23 相信大家都很关心。这是我个人看 NRMP 报告大致估计的，如有失误之处，请见谅。
2013 通过main match 的位置是29,171 比2012 match的 26772的多了2449 位置。假设
总的resident spots 没变，那么
也就是说2013 match IMGs 少了 2449 pre-match 位置。如果总位置有增加，那少的数
目有可能会低一点。
PGY1 positions: 2012 match offered 24034, 2013 match offered 26392. 增加了
2358 match positions. 意味着少了相应的pre-match positions
但从下面资料table 4 推测， IMGs match的总的人数变化不大（基于withdrew是有于
pre-match.)
假如不少同学pre-match 但没有注册NRMP 的，这人数就不好说了。

live chat了一下这个情形，结果他们有price match policy，给我退回$160+$10 tax
，鉴于有网友问，特此发个帖让以后要想买lenovo电脑的网友了解了解，也许可以帮你

首先lenovo是不主动说他们有price protection的，我也是发现降价了给客服说我要取
消订单，理由很简单，才买一周还没寄出就降价$160，那我还不如取消重买一个（当时

1 自我介绍： 共参加过2次match, 今年成功match到病理专业。Yog: 15y; 分数： 220
+／220＋／cs first pass/210+; OB: 1y; IV: 4.
2 大家地心情我非常理解，或沮丧或决望或抑郁，我也有同样地经历和感受。但希望大
家能快速地调整好心态，快速地度过失落期，重新找回自信，不用怨天尤人，更不要自
暴自弃，妄自菲薄，因为我们每个cmg都很棒。我们能用非母语在USMLE地考试中拿到了
和amg相似或更高地分数，我们同时还要兼顾家庭，事业，子女，身份等重担，所以我
们每个能走到match这步的CMG 都是非常优秀地。没match上真的不是我们的原因。
3 对match的客观分析：既然我们CMG如此优秀，为什么又有很多人没match上呢？答案

trained at foreign medical school）在match前withdraw，说明～20%的人可能拿到
pre-match.
分析一下CMG报名较多的IM，Path
IM，
总的IMG（US IMG+FMG）申请人数：6296，
match上的FMG，1335， match率占总IMG的21.2%
match上的USIMG，470
因为不知道到底有多少USIMG申请人，如果刨开这部分USIMG也许FMG的match率可以达到
30%
Path
总的IMG（US IMG+FMG）申请人数：482，
match上的FMG，80， match率占总IMG的16.5%
match上的USIMG，29
因为不知道到底有多少USIMG申请人，如果刨开这部分USIMG也许FMG的match率可以达到
20%
以上的分析是基于2009 match data数据报告（参见附件）中Table 1， Table 2。欢迎大家斧正！

2010年match上精神科。
Match精神科越来越难，希望简单介绍，对大家有所帮助。
精神科比较热，建议大家选择自己喜欢的科室。因为每段时间都有热门科室，风水轮流
转，过一段时间可能没那么热门，根据自己的兴趣来选，不要跟风。比如：病理现在很
多人申请，但是就业比较困难。
一、实际操作问题。
9.15正式开始，现在大家都准备得差不多了。如果没考完step3的话，建议考掉，重新
开始match，对match比较大的帮助。这个时候应该分数、OB、LOR都拿到了。如何利用
手里的条件成功面试，这个讲座早一点举办的原因是因为想早一点帮助朋友拿到额外的
面试，在大家没开始面试之前，每个program拿到几百甚至上千封申请，一般是
coordinator做prelim工作，定下来YOG不能超过5年等等条件，PC screen之后把剩下的
申请交给program director去挑选给谁面试。
如何解决被filter这个问题？现在是一个比较好的时机，因为screen没开始，直接和
director联系，如果有什么拿得出手的东西，面试官可以直接跳过prescreen的环节。

自2007年来美开始准备到2015 match成功，数年的努力换来这短短几个字。开始不
相信自己的眼睛，然后泪如泉奔，几年的苦水化作大把的眼泪。老公善解人意的大中午
