Don Nguyen got it working with an em7455 lenovo branded card. These cards
can be found used for cheaper. Keep in mind a different adapter will be
needed and a script needs to be ran whenever it is powered off.
Proven routers are linksys wrt1900acs/ netgear wndr3700 v4/ TP-LINK 4300
these i have personally done. The zbt can be done also but it's a different
setup. There are more routers that might work

only difference between the em7455 & mc7455 is that the em is m.2 & the mc
is mpcie.
But the mc7455 does come standard with all the com ports open and in qmi
mode which works with windows & Linux. CapJans link shows you how to put it
in mbim mode to work with openwrt.
Some em7455 modems come with the comm ports closed and all are in mbim mode.
And some have fcc-auth turned on. If fcc-auth is turned on, you have to

For the mc7455
Use the newest chaos calmer openwrt or LEDE firmware.
Install these packages. If using putty just copy and paste this
opkg install umbim kmod-usb-net-cdc MBIM kmod-usb-net-sierra wireless kmod-
usb-serial-wwan kmod-usb-serial-sierra wireless kmod-usb-serial-qualcomm
Then copy and paste this.
uci del network.wan
uci set network.wan=interface
uci set network.wan.proto=mbim

无法识别。 可惜折腾成本比较高， 有点难度。感觉R850接受跟信号强度没多少关系，
还是看sprint tower 和容量。 我这附近就是满格信号， download 也超不过6MB。但
是真不知道pocket wifi 的LTE plus会咋样？ 也不知谁有2个plan 同一位置比较？ |

0)如果你的EM7455是lenovo版的，找一个thinkpad比较好，如果是dell版的，找一个
dell的笔记本可以救你于水火，否则你会折腾很久windows都无法识别你的EM7455。有
一个不大靠谱的办法就强制安装驱动，前提是你已经安装了通用驱动或则品牌驱动，点
那未知设备，选择手动安装驱动，从不匹配的驱动列表里选择modem-〉sierra AT EM/
MC7455 驱动，运气好你的一个未知设备会变成3个设备，其中AT那个设备是驱动正常，
其余都失败。这样子你可以用下载的huawei terminal连接并输入指令了。

感谢viliv 之前建议， 最近才找到个旧的T510,直接安装lenovo驱动， 然后该了通用
固件， 就可以在其他非lenovo PC使用了。 现在不知道是不是应该升级楼主提到的这
最新通用固件GENERIC_002.017_000， 当前是EM7455 SWI9X30C_02.20.03.00_00-6-30-
2016. 路由器改LEDE和modem manager太复杂， 各种路由水土不服。 下一步准备把
asus 旧的N16路由 flash 成Rooter固件 （Of Modems and Men）， 据说可以直接驱动
em7455， 但wifi 只有A/G. 还有个神油A68U可刷但no wifi。 谁知道支持rooter固件
比较好的路由？还有备选的netgear r6300-V2 和 Raspberry Pi 3。谁还有Mc7455
Raspberry Pi3 .img for sprint？ 原有下载已经失效了！一句话， 折腾em7455就是

发帖数: 212 | 18 用的rooter的固件， 应该直接支持EM7455，不知道咋提取mbim.sh. window下用那个
skylight也没服务，不过观察到即使通用驱动，没插SIM 卡 是通用固件， 但一旦插入
ATT sim后， 也会自动切
换成ATT的, 估计问题还是em7455，跟router没关系， 因为em7455直接在window USB下
也是没服务和连接， 设备管理器下驱动正常， 所有ports 打开， 可以ATi 通讯。
整个设置都是照LTE hacks说

1. Some em7455 modems come with the comm ports closed and all are in mbim
mode. And some have fcc-auth turned on. If fcc-auth is turned on, you have
to issue a command to turn the modem on. You have to change the usbcomp mode
to turn on the com ports. I ran across some post on the net on how to do
these but haven't done it myself. They used AT commands to do it.
My dell em7455 came with all the ports open and fcc-auth turned off.
