“McCloughan had been with the Seahawks since being hired in June 2010. At
the time, Seahawks general manager John Schneider said the team was hiring
McCloughan because he was a 'proven talent evaluator.'
Schneider's not kidding either. During five seasons in San Francisco (2005-
09), including two as the 49ers general manager, McCloughan was responsible
for draft classes that included Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Patrick Willis and
Michael Crabtree.

McCloughan给挤跑了， 其实这个Scott McCloughan选秀还是很厉害的， McCloughan
drafted Dashon Goldson, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Joe Staley and Patrick
Willis during his time with the 49ers as GM and VP of football operations.
He then helped identify key players for Seattle such as Richard Sherman,
Russell Wilson, K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner that allowed Seattle to win
their first Super Bowl in February.

The Browns on Tuesday announced that CEO Joe Banner and general manager
Michael Lombardi are leaving the organization.
Ray Farmer, who toiled under Lombardi, has been promoted to general manager
effective immediately. Banner, set to exit over the next two months, called
the transition "bittersweet" in a statement released by the Browns on

In the debate between Aaron Rogers and Alex Smith, not only did he rated
Alex higher, he stuck with him for many years too.
One can also say how he "found" RW3, but I'm not sure how much his
contribution was.

I don't know how to connect all those dots yet because I guess we don't know
how much his opinions weighted in Seattle's front office when he was there.
Also I'm done with Cousins. Jay Gruden likes him too but there were
certainly more doubters as season progressed last year
