經過一個夏天的懸疑、不斷升高緊張氣氛的高調喊話後，大都會歌劇院勞資雙方終於了
解，盡最大努力演出最好看的戲，才是贏得觀眾信任最好的方法，在8月中達成合約協
定。樂迷可以放心，大都會歌劇院新季會如期在22日展開。
這個2014-2015新季度，共排出26部歌劇，其中有三部是從未在大都會演出的戲碼，包
括亞當斯(John Adams)的「克林赫夫之死」(The Death of Klinghoffer)、羅西尼的「
湖上女郎(La Donna del Lago)」和柴可夫斯基的「Iolanta」。總體來說，這26部製作
裡共有六部新歌劇。
第一個新製作就是開季夜上演「費加洛的婚禮(Le Nozze di Figaro)」，莫札特這部歌
劇，被許多音樂史家認為是最完美的歌劇，四幕故事相當符合中國傳統創作起承轉合的
結構，每一幕裡充滿意料之外的情節轉折，角色關係隨時都可能變換，每首詠嘆調都洋
溢莫札特獨特的優美和機智。Almaviva伯爵得力僕人費加洛與伯爵夫人女傭Susanna婚
