what do you know?
of course i am talking about budget deficit, which is more meaningful than
national debt.
unless you can lay out the real numbers.

With the election festivities over, maybe the politicians both old and new

that all the rhetoric is regarding surface level issues in my opinion. Not
meaningless, but not core issues. Included in these, I will put health care

By Adam Yoshida
I have longed argued that one of the primary problems with the thinking of
our well-meaning liberal friends is that they tend to live in the world of "
wouldn't it be nice" and then attempt to argue that people who dissent from
this view are just plain bad. Nowhere is that tendency better exemplified
than in the battle over Climate Change.
Most of us are familiar with the concept of the "prisoner's dilemma." It's

Our economic problems rightfully dominate the news. However, they are
merely symptoms of a bigger, underlying problem: government.
For many, the previous paragraph is heresy. They "know" that government is

order to the chaos that would prevail in its absence. "They" are wrong!
Government has become little more than a carefully crafted myth based on
propaganda disseminated by government itself. It has... 阅读全帖

Many have been arguing that access to the Internet is a basic human right to

Gallup has a poll that informs us that voter enthusiasm is higher for

Ok, let me try to explain.
It depends on how you do the poll. If Foxnew has a web poll, no matter how
many samples there are, it does not mean anything because the samples (
people who go to the Foxnew website) are mostly republicans (not random). To
get a meaningful poll, you need to have true random samples, which is much
more costly to get than just putting something on the web. So real unbiased
polls rarely go beyond a few hundreds to a few thousand people. Polls with
more than 10000 samples... 阅读全帖
