P1:两个sorted数组，每个数组选一个数，相加。求第k大的和。
P2:一个n*n的矩阵，行和列都是sorted的，求第k大数。假设是从左到右递增，从上到
下递增。
P1是P2的特例。
这个题目O(n^2)是最直接的解法。然后有个O(k logn)的用堆来做，稍微tricky一些。
下面说下n logn的怎么搞出来。
首先想到的是套median的算法。比如一开始拿矩阵中心的那个数,say q 出来。从右上
开始往左下 能用O(n)的时间找出一条分界线, 这条分界线是单调的。使得这条线以上
的数比q小，下的数比q大。然后扔掉不对的那一半递归。第一次这么扔能扔掉至少1/4
的矩阵。问题来了，第二次继续在剩下的里面怎么做。
剩下的是神马。。是n 个row。每个row大小都不一样。目标是在这堆row里面扔掉至少1
/4. 这时候，每个row 可以找出一个median来。然后一般的做法找medians的median。
但是在这里行不通，因为有的row size比较小，这么做不能保证每次扔掉1/4. 必须修

sure, so you don't sort, just iterate each local file when testing.
totally it will be still linear time (with up to 32 iterations of files
though, big constant factor), and no touching on original data.
actually it's all integer numbers, i think even sorting could be done in
linear time (radix sort), and it will speed up testing a lot.
Not sure why median of median works:
let N = 5,
Machine1: 1 2 3 4 5 median 3
Machine2: 101 102 103 104 105 median 103

median of median: 3, but it's obviously not the global median, only 6
elements are less than "3"...

上面有位同学说用求meidan of median,有点像，但不一样。我是用O(N)(第一次建medi
ans的minheap和maxheap，后来为O(log(n))因为只是插入和删除操作)找出median最大
的数组A1和median最小的数组An，然后remove A1的upper half和An的lower half相同
数目的元素(i.e. min(0.5*size(A1),0.5*size(An))。然后重新找最大和最小median，
这么着iterate， so on and so forth. 这样就可以找到所有数组的median。
然后怎么把找kth变成找median呢，方法如下：
如果k!=n/2 or k不是median，就pack几个非常小(比所有数小， if k < n/2 )或非常大
的数(if k > n/2) 平均放到n个数组上去，然后求所有新数组的median，就是求老数组
的kth_element鸟。

cases where the Dow dropped by 2.6% (the drop on Friday).
Of those 39 cases, 23 of them saw the Dow close higher and 16 were lower.
For those 23 closing higher, the median rise was 1.11% with an average of 1.

For those 16 closing lower, the median drop was 1%, the average was 1.72%
