去赶紧更新一下，听说更新带齐证件即可，但是昨天收到一封州交管所
（Bureau of Motor Vehicles)发来的信件说我的driver license的
medical restricted card快要过期，让我赶紧renewal，还附上一个
form让我和我的physician 填写，大体就是说让医生来评估一下我能不能
开车，这种renew好像是每次renew driver license的时候都要搞
开始我还觉得这种医疗评估应该是惯例吧，所有人都要弄，结果问了一圈儿
别人renew都没听说过这个东西，再仔细想想，他们的意思是我现在拿的驾照
是medical restricted 驾照，就是表示我有啥特殊病史需要表明，可是
我从来没听说过这个medical restriction, 本人一向身体健康，视力正常
没有任何medical restriction, 09年拿到驾照的时候上面restriction

health professionals.
There is a clear line between scientific exchange (done by medical liaison)

public assistant的时候选了no?
据我所知medic aid不是public charge,所以不应该影响申请绿卡.
我个人理解medic aid属于public assistant,不属于public charge,在转绿卡填485表,
会问你是否有public assistant,要选yes or no.我认为这个选择比较tricky.首先弄清
楚究竟public charge是否等于public assistant(网上很多人说不完全等于).另外,如
果medic aid纯粹为小孩申请,小孩有公民身份,这个assistant是在小孩名下,不是大人
名下的,大人可以选no.但是大人本身接受过medic aid例如孕期检查费和生产费,应该选
yes.
期待LZ咨询结果.我的理解都是google得来的. |

social security tax and medical tax之前的gross income。
不知道是不是哪里搞错了，否则这不就相当于我还要对已经付的social security tax
and medical tax进行第二次交税了吗？
另外，州税表中有一项“taxable social security and RR benefits”,请问这是不是
相当于我所付过的social security tax and medical tax？如果W2表中那一拦为空，
是不是不能填？

业前的学校给的，里面没扣social security tax和medical tax；另一份是opt期间的
，里面已扣social security tax和medical tax。我疑惑的问题有：
1. 我应该以resident的身份报今年的税吧（所以可以用Turbotax保税）？
2. 第二份W2里所缴的social security tax和medical tax是由于F1转opt还是
nonresident转resident引起的（我毕业之前从没缴过social security tax和medical
tax）？
3. 尝试了Turbotax，发现最后还要补交联邦税，是否是因为要补交第一份W2里的
social security tax和medical tax？像我这种情形是否一般都要补税？
可有人有类似经验指教一下，多谢了！ |

biotech是top3中的一家，工作在位于南加州总部，medical device也是行业里top3的
一家，工作在PA的
美国总部.
工作都是FDA申报之类的。
我是生物硕士，偏重功能基因组和基因克隆，没有industry工作经历。我本人更偏向于
去biotech，但是碍
于签证和经济压力，任何机会都不能放过。
我要是面试medical device，大家觉得我可以说点什么，让他们觉得我热爱medical
device行业，或者
medical device比biotech/big pharma有什么优势呢？

complaints data investigation /ICAR 之类的 初级工作。如果留在QA部门就得考
Green belt等才有机会往上升。现在有个机会去medical affairs部门 主要是IIS
management, registration，MDR report review, maintaining evidence library
literature database, clinical evaluation 也是做初级工作。感觉medical affairs
更多的是PharmD在做 他们升的也快。目前对quality无感，糊口的工作，没啥兴趣。本
打算做regulatory，但是没经验毫无offer 想着是否先跳medical affairs 再转。或者
medical affairs也很好就留下去干。
想问哪个部门对职业发展较好? 请大家给些意见 谢谢 |

Statistician的附属品，而Medical Writer是独立的Function Lead。而且从工种性质
上看，Medical Writer要重要的多，中国人能在北美做Medical Writer的很少，更多的
是有语言方面的限制。LZ如果能在这方面上有发展，尤其是以后具备了Medical
Writing和Biostats的双重经验，简直是前途不可限量 |

release form？如果我签了，medical board找旧儿医要病历的时候，他不就知道我投
诉他了？会不会对我使坏？我现在应该签这个release form吗？
