是contigent upon H1B,（opt现在都查不到状态）， medical test, background
check。。。 说要10.3号上班，可是到现在都没有消息，和HR 律师联系他们又不上心
。。。
当时拿到想去的offer时候 也就是1个月前，还面了另一家公司，现在manager说会给
offer。。。可是以我现在的状况 要怎么答复？因为之前看到版上说有个fellow都去工
作了，后来说身份问题 就把那个Offer 收回了！所以现在一天没上班就担心一天！
可是现在这个 Offer 要怎么处理？拒了么？又怕！！不拒又怕损人品 （不过他们说过
他们不急着要candidate去上班的，因为我当时说我OPT还不知道什么时候下来呢）
能否请版上的人给只个招啊！要怎么答复这个manager? (说offer的细节应该很快就会
给)

think about that because it's almost impossible.
There are few other companies doing medical imaging, maybe Partek or 3M or
Kitware is close, but not exactly.
Anyway, if you are doing medical imaging, you are doomed to academia, which
is so sad.
Since you are in the 1st year, it's not too late to switch to something else
, like bioinformatics or statistics. |

老公静脉曲张，9月份的时候有个溃疡一直没好，在urgent care看了几次，后来被
urgent care refer过去一个wound care center,除去医生的office visit和lab bill,
现在收到一张3600多刀的bill,是medical center的，其中：
clinic $2,112
clinic $341.25
vascular study $1,085
刚刚给保险公司打电话，保险公司说这些是facility charge，就像你去急诊，医生的
账单和急诊的是分开的。
请问这种情况有任何可能fight the bill么？从头至尾我们以为是去看另外一个医生，
也许是专家，但是不是急诊，为什么会有这种天价账单啊？ |

解，你们的错误是，在去那个啥 center 之前没有和自己的保险公司联系过，保险公司
没有给你们 approve 过，估计这个 center 根本就不在你的 network 里，所以贵，而
且已经去过了，生米煮成熟饭了，很不好办。看病为啥非得去 urgent care？你们没有
PCP? 还有一点儿，你查查你们保险的 annual deductible 是多少？用掉多少了？

I broke my left foot on Dec. 18, 2011. I went to Palo Alto Medical
Foundation in Mountain View on the same day and was assigned a doctor. I saw
the doctor 4 time since then. My last cast was removed on March 7, 2012.
I was told that the second toe bone in my left foot is 80% cured, but I don'
t believe it when I saw the latest X-ray image. Two out of 3 broken toe
bones are apparently mis-aligned.
I'm worried this may bring me more risks if I do any physical activities in

是中国人）。在做了血检和心脏的Holter monitor之后，医生S便说要做CT才能确诊病
因。
起先我自己并不愿意做这个CT， 可S执意要我做，并说不做CT的话他不能给我任何的后
续诊疗。由于医生S是我朋友的朋友，且他在cardiology算是比较有名医生， 医院C也
是一家大医院且是In network，所以就在他医院做了CT。
后面噩梦就来了。
医院C给我的保险公司（Blue Cross Blue Shield)为这次CT寄了$3547的帐单。可保险
公司认为这个CT is not medical necessity thus is not covered by my plan. 这意
味着保险公司不会支付一分钱给医院。
如果保险cover的话，这样的CT检查保险公司跟医院的协议价应该是$1000左右，按照我
的plan，保险公司付$800, 我自己最多只要付$200. 可现在保险公司说不cover，医院
就把送给保险公司的总额$3547的帐单送给了我。

Program. 他们在中国的收入用不用写上，他们国内的收入不是很高，老俩口加一块儿

得很热，虽然我还不算老，不是生病的年龄，不过为了保险还是去看了一下。
先去的Urgent care,X-ray照了一下腹部和胃部, co-pay:75；还给了两张图片放到光盘
里，让我带着去emergency room （实际上后来的医生根本就没看。。。）
然后去了ER,co-pay:200...就抽了个血，然后量血压之类的，你妹的等了6-7个小时，
然后说我血液指标都很正常，给我开了点治胃酸reflux,还有一个是通便之类的。。。
我觉得不是那个问题就没去买那些药。。。然后那个医生给refer了一个专家，肠胃科
的。
好不容易约了时间，去了以后听诊一下，然后就再约个时间做胃镜，在之前那个大医院
做的。同时又约了时间follow up results. co-pay:50； 做的时候注射了麻药，醒来
啥感觉都没有，本来我想自己走回去，他们非要一个人带我回去，实际上我已经很清醒
了。。。第二天感觉嗓子很疼，就和感冒了差不多。在等结果的期间，我吃饭也尽量吃

我家宝宝得病，看病一年对美国医生水平，对患者的保护感到非常失望。举几个例子，
1 宝宝从ER出来PICU第一天，医生A急着回家就否定了我们最重要有关奶粉的信息。告
诉我们说孩子不是代谢病，吃那种特殊奶粉没错。
2 医生A在我们问lab数据的时候承认如果lab数据达到某个高值就应该是这个代谢病，
结果后来查原始数据发现真的非常高，矢口否认。说别的原因也可以。
3 医生A在别的原因通过medicine list和intake/output数据否认后，继续坚持否认代
谢病。且明确说通过全面检查不是代谢病，无须再测。
3 医生B告诉我们很多测试保险公司都不cover， 实际上保险公司cover。但是医生B通
过不合理的根据确保保险公司拒付，在我们自己appeal后保险公司支付了。

medical bill本来就是可以argue，我就是想试试讲价，顺便了解一下这边医疗系统
emergency room当时就查了一个blood,付了co-pay $250,我问的是做胃镜的收费.我同
学在学校的medical center做胃镜，claim了3k多，而且还是应该是我们这最好的医院
了。保险也比较好加上学生最后付了300差不多。我的就claim了6k多，我觉得这很黑 |

以前一直买的都是2oz的contact solution，就是因为登机行李那个100ml的规定
最近听朋友说其实隐形的solution可以算medical用，不受这个规定限制。是么？

换PCP，被告知转medical records要10刀，外加每张25 cents，请问这个是惯例吗？合
理吗？谢谢
由于这个PCP是个财迷，以前出现过打疫苗硬要收copay，而我的保险明确说明任何疫苗
都是不收copay的，但是PCP就是要，小护士转身把钱还给我了，所以我很不相信这个医
生，特来问问大家这个收费合理吗？不合理可以投诉她吗？谢谢 |

发帖数: 52 | 49 刚申Medical被拒了，原因是说我不是加州居民。staff告诉我说，我在回答提供的现住
址是不是permanent address这个问题的时候选了no，然后写的原因是我lg正在这里上
学，permanent address在中国。据此，staff判定我们在上完学之后会回国，没有计划
继续留在加州居住，所以把申请拒掉了。
我不明白这个问题该怎么答，本来我的permanent address就不在这，不可能选yes的吧
。但是我不知道怎么解释为什么permanent address不在加州。现在急死了，怀宝宝都3
个月了，申请不下medical就找不到医生。
请知情的好心人提供点帮助，不胜感激！ |

TX practice的医生
需要有耐心，有经验
有什么网站可以查医生的评价吗？自己google了一下几个医生，评价很少。如果需要交钱登录看review也可以
