在学界格列卫的发展史是被用来嘲讽诺华的短视和逐利的，怎么电影一出就封神了……
具体到格列卫，简要发展史如下：
1960年，David Hungerford发现在一类白血病人中多出一条染色体，他们把这类现象命
名为费城染色体。当时他们受到无数嘲讽，因为没人相信人会多一条染色体。
1970年，Janet Rowley发现这染色体是怎么出现的，他们发现是第9和第22号染色体发
生了重组，并且因为重组，bcr和abl两个基因融合到了一起，形成了一个新的酶。

后来到了1990年，David Baltimore等人发现尽管这个新酶在常规致癌实验中不能让细
胞成癌，但是可以让血细胞变成白血病。以上的工作是决定性的，找到了致病的靶点，
好比修车工找到了车哪里出了问题。
接下来的工作是怎么修。这部分工作持续了30年，产生了两个拉斯克奖，完全是学界完
成的。一般来说大家都认为既然是这个酶导致了CML（观察者网注：慢性粒细胞白血病
），那么把这个酶关住，癌细胞就死掉了，这就叫靶向治疗。

假是最后一次找实习的机会。从去年开始就找实习（amgen, monsanto, genentech等等
），面试有几次，可能因为博士期间研究的对象不是人，最后都没拿到offer。我有很
多molecular biology, biochemistry, cell culture, assay, protein expression
and purification, proteomics analysis的经验，现在1,2,3，...n作文章有将近十篇
。希望大家如果组里需要招暑期Intern的，能帮助refer一下 （现在还没收到拒信的公
司有amris, bayer, biomartin, bolt threads, amgen, gliead, biogen, medivation
, genentech, regeneron等等）。先谢谢大家了！ |

发帖数: 1312 | 18 分享一点点自己的经验。把LinkedIn等找工作相关的网页建好。根据目标职位的关键词
去完善自己的skill set，简历里把该有的经验和关键词尽可能都填上。多拉一些人，
互相endorse最关键的技能。
一年多还有足够的时间去建立connection。有实习最好，没有也没关系。自己找点
summer course，workshop，或者工业界相关的training、会议，去强化一下目标职位
要求的技能，我觉得哪怕自己投资几百刀上千刀也是值得的。（我参加过一些生物信息
相关的培训，对后来的博后和可能的工作机会有很大帮助。不过和你的背景不太一样，
就删了。）
不管怎么样，早点开始准备，工作机会一定会有的。祝好运！

我们公司是billion 了。去再小的拿的多一点，去再大的拿的少一点。
NDA 的确股票涨的快，几倍，几十倍的一般是有platform, 不停的file 新药，像
biomarin, Jazz pharma，Gilead 什么的.
这边一般在大公司攒点经验就去小公司。一般人喜欢赌merger, 2016 去medivation,
pharmacyclics, 去了几个月公司就被收购，一个个笑呵呵的等退休。
今年大家去cancer, 只要跟cancer 相关的股票一个个呼呼的涨，过两天一看被收购了。
搞这行不去小公司去哪儿？大公司都是卖现成的药，要biostatistician 干嘛？很多在
大公司干了十几年的没摸过NDA 的，好多公司只有registry.
而且大公司不是药过期就是被小公司打败，也就是cash 多靠买小公司过日子。不裁员
