1.不能有语法错误，请native speaker帮助修改，不要有拼写和语法错误
2.长度：限制在1页， 700-800字。
3.如何写： （1）先罗列自己想写的话，无论是一句话还是一段话，每天思考，添加减
， 然后提炼，浓缩修改， 最后按时间顺序整理。 （2）不要太多人看，内容自己把握
，自己把握排序，然后由native speaker帮助看看使得看着美国化一点，找有文化的人
，尤其是有经验的，最好的是美国MD。（3）PS如何写得最好，使别人感觉你是一个活
生生的人，不是一个符号，表现你的激情，对事业的责任心，投入，你的特点，通过以
前临床经历和OB的经历的小故事体现出你的责任心，很投入。 把CV当成一个树干，PS
是用事例表现出树叶的美，语言不要华丽，要实在，要体现出内容。尽量紧扣临床经历
（ residents是培养PCP，不是科学家）， 有几句话表现一下你未来5-10年的目标。
国内的临床不要展开太多，带到就行。美国的临床要着重写。老套的故事不要用。不要
copy网上的，要学习别人的写作方式，学习讲故事的方式，看看如何通过故事体现个人

mention US clinical experiences, expand them
Do not copy PS through internet, pretty risky.

Writhe only one page.
Don’t have grammar error.
Write as early as possible, then to polish with the time going on.
Ask different people to help modify your draft, prefer native American
speaker in medical field, e.g. American MD.
Tell your own story to show your empathy towards patients, your enthusiasm,
highlight your good personality with convincing stories. The most important
point is to show your ability of excellent patient care.

native speaker?) to help you, but you need to be specific, and don’t ask
too much.
2. Should be around 700-800 words, and ONLY one page
3. 写的过程：一开始可以先罗列， 然后每几天修改一下，直到把最开始的3-4页浓
缩成1页， 最好找美国的MD来修改，没有专业背景的美国人帮助不大。
4. 通过小细节来体现自己的特点： 关心病人， 工作认真，幽默风趣。。。要有血
有肉，故事别太老套，可以参考First Aid里例子，但别照搬。
5. 国内的医疗经验可以提，不必展开；这里的经历（Observation，externship）
可以多提。
6. 改Ps的商业公司并不推荐，不像你自己写的，在面试时也会有影响。

格式上
不能出现任何语法错误，写完之后尽量找native speaker帮助修正比如语法，言词表达
的不到位。
长度：一般一页纸左右，700-800字左右
如何写？-----先罗列自己要陈述的要点和细节，尽情发挥，可能超过1页，过几天，再
重新回顾修正，反复修订和浓缩，重新排序，要尽早准备，反复修改提炼直至最满意的
状态，可能找部分有经验的人（特别是american MD）帮助适时修改和提炼
如何写好PS?------要罗列哪些内容？---表现出自己的努力、激情、责任心以及投入，
更要表现出个人特点，临床中的细节和小例子（比如与患者的态度、交谈）---通过这
些表现申请人的责任心、思维、投入和激情，生活中的例子------也可以间接表达个人
优点，表现适合医生这个工作的特点，重点是通过种种例子表现自己适合行医的特点，
用例大致两个即可，用词平淡即可，不必华丽。科研的成果更不能不要过分强调，因为
这不是做residency的目标，否则就是偏离目标（包括在面世的时候也要注意这个偏离）
国内作过临床的可以提到，对方会看中这个经历，但不要太多，着重在美国的临床经验

用专门打印PS的厚纸，保持整洁
格式：不能有语法和拼写错误，找native speaker修改，不要找太多人，最好是MD，知
道program director想要的是什么
长度： 1页， 700-800字
准备写：把想说的东西罗列出来，不断提炼
个人特色： 通过小细节：对病人态度，表现出细心、责任心、关心病人，表现激情，
投入，事业心
内容：围绕临床，小细节体现，residency培养的是Primary care physician，在PS里
体现做临床，如family medicine，不要多提research，国内临床内容可以带过，不用
多说，主要是美国的经历
为什么走上学医的路：不要老套的故事（从小生病，神医等），不要copy网上的东西
陈述：按时间顺序，走向成熟的过程。倒叙用于表达更好的人
是否找商业公司代写：可能内容、风格类似, 不建议
申请不同的科：General template
大学可能有专门机构改CV/PS，自己问问看
FA match书参考
CV：排版要整齐，黄底或白底纸
按eras格式填
