我的个人看法是：首先要搞清楚高血压的原因。是家族遗传问题，还是伴随血糖产生的
，和胰岛素抗性是否有联系，心电图结果如何等。然后才能确定跑步是否有效。假如没
有什么特殊的原因，就是大多数人那样，活动少，饮食没有注意（比如米面特别多），
血脂也高一些，心脏机能弱，那么跑步应该会有一些效果。
有人专门做过这方面的研究，就是跑步是否可以改善高血压：

就像随着年龄增长皮肤会长皱纹一样，各个器官也会长一些不会对身体带来实质危害的
小东西，如果不刻意检查一辈子可能都不会知道，我们叫它“没有临床意义”。有时甚
至为了把这些东西和不太好的恶性病变区分出来还不得不做有创检查，从而给患者带来
风险(比如“开胸验肺”，别看是新闻其实在实际医疗实践中并不少见)。
所以原则上任何检查都应该是有原因才考虑去做的，也就是如果如果结果异常能通过及
时的干预使患者获益。但是非常遗憾的是，因为多种原因所致，国内很热衷给病人开大
量没有必要的检查，从而带来很多没有必要的担心。
你提到的这几个检查是很有必要的
1. 糖化血红蛋白：虽然这个值在健康人群中的正常值应该低于6.5，但是因为糖尿病患
者对调节功能变差（特别你爸爸胰岛功能几乎丧失），过低的糖化血红蛋白可能让患者
出现低血糖，从而反而对患者带来伤害。目前认为像你父亲这样的老年人，最好糖化血
红蛋白控制在大于或等于7左右，也就是说可以糖尿病的用药可以"宽松"一点。（参考

目前的唐氏筛查试验有两个，一个是在first trimester做的，一个是在second
trimester做的。
First trimester screening包括三个检测：
抽血查free-beta hCG和PAPP-A，外加一个B超检查的NT。
Second trimester screening包括4个检查，都是抽血查的：
AFP， hCG， uE3，和inhibin，因此又叫Quad test。

老大一小时测试低空飞过，这次老二没逃过，前天测1小时，143，心想超的不多，3小

了要support biomedical research, in particular, two areas - diabetes mellitus
and aging。我也试过其它几个，最常见的无非是---Damon Runyon Cancer Research,
Helen Hay Whitney, Life Sciences Research, Cancer Research Institute, American
Heart Association, Jane Coffin, ACS, HSFP, etc. 在不同的领域有不同的specific
fellowship,比如做neurodegenerative diseases的就有Milton Wexler等。具体的信息要
