京沪高铁
去年10月回国坐了次高铁从上海去北京。车上的餐车很现代，但是没有像以前火车餐车
上有卖各种的炒菜什么的，只有一种好像卖20块钱一份的盒饭，不过我一看见盒饭里面
发黄的菜叶马上就没了胃口。

这个是从洛杉矶到西雅图间的观光列车。如果你订的是包厢的话，车票里包括了早中晚
三餐。伙食虽然不到米其林星级水平，但还是不会让你的胃太失望的。

but you can try the Boulud cafe, which is cheaper with its a la carte menu.
Marea is not too pricey 80 bucks a person I would guess.
Alto offers 68 bucks 4 course menu, it is same group with Marea, I think

还是在过桥元的边上 （左手边，垂直的一留小店里）
名字大概是Korean Home Town
店还是很小， 食客全是棒子
进门自己找位置，中年大妈端上冷大麦茶，送上menu
领导大呼不好 - menu上一个字都看不懂， 全是韩文，还没画片。感情我们被韩国大妈
认成同胞了， 要说韩剧同化人，俺家领导是从不沾的。
领导自己动手终于找来带英文的menu，还是不带画片，好在墙上有些照片，勉强点了菜。
俺， 老一套， 辛豆腐，就是豆腐锅，韩文就念辛豆腐。
领导， 老一套， 铁板牛小排骨。
先上小菜，大妈拿了共九个小碟，林林总总，家常家常， 没啥新鲜， 就是样数比别家
多。
辛豆腐还不错。
铁板牛小排不新鲜，大妈听了二话不说端下去了
换菜， 又看了墙上的画片半天， 还是点了安全的Bin Bin Biang(石锅拌饭)
惊艳出场，牛肉是片，别家是肉馅，菜多，黄豆芽加生菜，大酱已预先加在饭里，拌一
拌，好吃，认为是San Diego最好的石锅拌饭。

说事没必要。 Apple至少与20多家公司打过官司；原告和被告都有的。 我最大的
Concern 是Apple以其巨大的财力，通过官司手段，在手机领域里消灭竞争和垄断市场
。通过封闭系统，在市场上绑架用户，不断地高利润的炸干用户的钱包。 HTC 官司后
几乎再也没有能力和APPLE 竞争。Nokia和Rimm 几乎已经垮台。唯有开源的 Android
阵营。 开源与封闭的斗争在我看来如同公益与自私，正义与邪恶的斗争。开源则是鼓
励中小企业，弱者参与竞争；封闭的 Apple 是把同行业的公司都挤垮，独食而肥；
Apple 手段是到处Claim 专利，到处打官司。因此对专利的lang用，对消灭竞争的判决
要非常小心。既然对专利的合理性有质疑，那么专利的费用上就该打折扣，如果Apple
对每台手机，平板收3，4美元而赢了官司，那我很认同；如果让Apple 以有争议的专利

从 Win 7 之前某段时间开始，我就注意到微软似乎就在有系统地移除 menu bar 这东
西。先是一些工具软件、应用软件里面的 menu bar 与 tool bar 合并，变成了所谓的
ribbon（？）。到了 Win 7，这情形更明显，有些捆绑的应用软件的界面全都变成这
种 style 了。前两天这里有帖子在抱怨 Office 2010，我估计也是在抱怨同样的事情。
当然，许多时候 tool bar 与 menu bar 里面的东西是重复的，将之合并是有道理。但
现在的 ribbon bar 是否更好，我不敢讲，至少许多以前惯用的 shortcut key 不能用
了。我常用的 Paint，到现在还在那里找要用东西在哪哩！ |

纯粹因为个人喜欢，不希望看到它因为客人少而关闭，所以推荐。
餐馆 serve Scandinavian food。因为以前餐馆的Sign是一只绿色的蜥蜴，常被人看成
alligator而误认为是Cajun Food。因此喜欢Cajun Food的人去了发现不是，所以不会
再去。而不喜欢Cajun Food的人则过而不入。最近他们把Sign换成红色的了。希望能有
更多的顾客吧。不过他们好像也打算把Menu换成new american风格的。我是打算到时要
一份他们现在的Menu copy，order from old menu.
非常喜欢他家的Food，周三到周六晚上还有乐队演出。最近连着去过好几次，Brunch，
Dinner。早餐有我认为最好的牛角面包，还有Omelette也非常棒。别的餐馆的Omelette
对我来说，总是很油腻。但是他家的，perfect.

其实我也不是从来不跟客人interact，我只是没有一直不停的去和每桌客人都interact
，而且也正如楼上有人说的，许多客人是不喜欢饭店的老板或者服务员唠叨的。例如我
有一对夫妻朋友，他俩意见就不同，男的让我多招呼客人嘘寒问暖，而女的就喜欢话不
多说召之即来挥之即去的埋头做事型。而且还有就是我爸就老爱跟客人聊个没完每桌都
不看客人喜好都想去聊，我老爸既然已经这样，我再去做和他有任何类似的举动，会有
人说有其父必有其女等话语，以为我这店的风格就是如此来吃饭一定都会被店主骚扰。
。。本来我跟我爸不一样，也会被说成是一样的～也的确dallas有客人就是怕我爸去找
他们聊天而避免和我爸对视的，呃当然也有客人是喜欢跟我爸聊天的，只是我爸分不出
谁喜欢聊，谁不喜欢聊。所以我一般和客人聊天的话，都多半是客人主动表示了想聊的。

点了三个菜另外加一个外卖, 结帐时感觉价格不对,重新要来menu查对,发现每个菜都比
menu多了一块钱.结帐单上没有菜名只有手写的价格. 柜台的一男一女看起来是店东或
经理,女的声称新的价格; 我问为什么menu上没改,她道歉没再说别的. 而男的态度恶劣

the controls. Both my steering wheel and regular PS3 controller work in

D300可以存4个shooting menu bank，包括画质、大小、是否raw、白平衡、色彩空间、
iso、降噪等。然后还可以存4个custom setting bank，包括各种AF、测光、功能键定
义、定时、连拍、闪光灯控制等等等等鸡皮蒜毛的。然后可以4x4=16种组合，但是必须
进菜单，最快也得建一个my menu的快捷方式，菜单键进去my menu，然后改是AA组合还
是AD组合或者是CA组合什么的。
哦，我想起来了，用快门AF还是用AF-on可以改了设两个custom setting bank就行了，这样稍微快一些。 |

吃在火车上
京沪高铁
去年10月回国坐了次高铁从上海去北京。车上的餐车很现代，但是没有像以前火车餐车
上有卖各种的炒菜什么的，只有一种好像卖20块钱一份的盒饭，不过我一看见盒饭里面
发黄的菜叶马上就没了胃口。
这个是发给特等座乘客的饮料和一包零食
Coast Starlight
这个是从洛杉矶到西雅图间的观光列车。如果你订的是包厢的话，车票里包括了早中晚
三餐。伙食虽然不到米其林星级水平，但还是不会让你的胃太失望的。
这个是Menu，虽然品种不是很多，但每餐都还有几种不同餐点可供选择。

其实有没有都一样，我本来也不用，真正的会用的都自己装launcher，谁用
start menu找东西啊，难用死了。
如果非要start menu，那么装个start8之类的东西也就行了。

那年暑假实习时作过的项目，与现在作的比起来，也还都是一个一个的小项目。那么相
比于现在GUI我所实现的部分，我又到底还需要哪些内容才能让自己的项目真正丰满起
来呢？
Design report outline/components列举了这个学期docs要求的所有内容，开头部分的
cover page, table of contents, executive summary，report body中的background,
problem definition, project plan，以及结尾部分的future work, appendices贴些
图表啊什么的都还算正常；可是，这个学期这门大课的要求里，重大版块的结构不完整
，只包括了要求两页纸的system architecture，占总共10页纸的20%，而没有包括传统
意义上的data design 和component design等；部分版块的要求轻重失衡，比如report
body中concept considered 居然要求占用3页，这至少对国际学生的我会是很大的考

，个别餐点每天也会有所不同。
设计算简单有质感。我觉得欠缺的是，男士和女士提供了同样标价格的Menu，估计是图
省事，还是现在男女平等的太严重

现任Executive Chef: Scott Nishiyama，据介绍是MIT的高才生毕业，我们9点就吃完
走了，没见到本尊。自从Chez TJ 原
来的主厨Christopher Kostow去年离开以后，Chez TJ的评价开始有了更多的mix
reviews, 作为曾经的二星，新主厨压力
不小，就我们当晚就餐经历，要再保持二星，真是has long way to go。
当晚Sommelier: Gretchen Simms，每道菜的Wine pairings都是她自己介绍和倒的，介
绍没太大的新意，但也没有推销
的感觉。后来两杯酒被女友叫停，不许再喝了。遗憾！！ |
