If he was hired by Legacy Schering, that is, before Nov 2009, at a C3
level, than yes, this salary + Bonus is possible in a good year (double
bonus at target 15%, base around 11.5K), but since he was hired in
2010, then I don't think what he said was possible.

director level. In legacy Schering system, they are D1 and D3
respectively, and salary wise, D1 :~150-170K, D3: ~200K. D1 has 20%
target bonus and D3 30% - 40%. |

to start advertising and interviewing candidates. Boston will be
posting about 50 new positions (~10 are already up for Molecular
Profiling, ~20 will go up for Chemistry, ~ 4 In Vitro Sciences, and
many of the rest in disease focused biology areas like Oncology, Bone,
Respiratory, Endocrine and Immunology). There is another projected

找新工作了。
裁员了天不会踏下来。
想当年我被裁，笑赫赫得跟老板说 expected, 反搞得老板不好意思。
4个月工资遣散包袱，只用了一个月就拿到新工作奥佛，底薪比前工作高30%，
然后其间还能领失业救济，到新公司报到前突击出去海玩。那段经历真是感觉爽歪歪了。
虽然俺不懂化学这行，不过要对前景乐观，塞翁失马，焉知非福啊。 |
