。现在才捐了3万多。我给红十字会捐过了，忍不住又捐了一次，因为在这个网站上捐
的等于是double的。mercy corps还是挺可靠的慈善机构。

1. How much percentage of my donation on China EarthQuake will actually go
to that area with earthquake?
2. If I donate on 5/13/08, when will my donation go to that area with
earthquake?
3. I have organized many other people to donate on China EarthQuake through
your website. Will you have any cap on the final total amount to be sent to
that area with earthquake? For example, some charity organizations may state
that there is a cap of up to 1 million doll |

My company will match $200. My colleague told me that West Union will match $1 for every $1 donated to China Earthquake by MercyCorps, up to $250,000.
So theoretical, when we donate $200, the total money goes to Sichuan should be $800.

学校确实我还没看到关于是否有match的先例，你可以发信问问吧，一是human
resources，二是国际学生办公室，三是自己所在院系，研究所，都没有的话可以问问
研究生院，校长办公室。。。或者本地本州搜一搜有没什么charity organization慈善
机构。

donation match from your company will also be matched by WestUnion, if all
matches are dollar-for-dollar, it means a 4X effect.
I donated 500 and my company automatically match that 500, so 1000 goes to
MercyCorps, and WestUnion will match that 1000, dollar-for-dollar.
so that is 500+500+1000=2000 |

我们公司没有donation match的policy，我追问后，告诉如果manager同意，可以作
case by case的match。他们关心的不过是 “if xxxx wants the company to
contribute he must give us specific information, and then the tax or
charitable number so the company can write it off.”
现在正在push他们同意给公司所有愿意捐的人都match。
另外，如果有人考虑对工作前途的影响，我的看法是，push for人道救援只有好处，不
用担心。

1. 建议学生直接捐到国内的机构，平均来说应该会更到帐快一些。
2. 工作的人先自己问问公司学校HR能不能match donation，
A. 如果不能的话，也捐国内的机构。
B. 如果公司能match，那应该是需要捐到美国（或其他国家）的有tax ID的正规机构了（
否则公司会不好办），比方该文提到的这个MercyCorps。毕竟晚到有200刀应该比早到
只有100刀的作用力大一些吧。
3. 号召外国朋友捐款，应该也是推荐到各自所在国的机构，最好是不用跑腿可以3分钟之内在网上搞定的方式。这样会方便他们捐款，最终达成的可能性更大一些。要不然一是看不懂中文，二是国内网站爆慢，接受汇款方式又太局限，会令很多人望而却步的.
