很不幸，Raleigh的Bike Month却是以一个悲剧开场 -上星期在Raleigh, 一个骑车人被
违章左转的汽车撞死了。死者是一个大建筑公司的老板，肇事者是一个骨科名医。看来
这个官司有得可打。希望逝者安息，肇事者被追究应有的责任。
借这个事给开车的同学们提个醒: West Cary因为房市上扬，车流也增加了，而West
Cary也是骑车人常常出没的地方，所以在路上开车遇到自行车，要千万注意。这里面常
出现的一个情景是在单车道的情况下，在对面有来车时，或是在弯道时，或是在坡底向
上时，汽车强行超越自行车- 一不留神就会出危险。正确的做法是跟在后面，确认对面
没有来车后安全地超过它。

112那条路景色很好，叫做Kancamagus Highway，我们的酒店就在路边。可以去登Mt
Washington，是白山的主峰，坐bus上去也行，票价20多一个人，自己开车下来太费刹
车。一直到North Conway景色都不错，那儿有个outlet据说，而且NH是没有购物税的。
