Right now BRK.A = 1500 BRK.B.
I don't really know about their voting rights. But BRK.B was just split last
month to facilitate the merger, which acted a big short-term catalyst to
the stock price of both A shares and B shares. The split also qualified BRK.

我的BOND HOLDING 最近跌的满厉害的， TOTAL BOND MARKET 的指数ETF 最近大概跌了7%。 一旦有通货膨胀预期， 这个债券跌得不比股票基金温柔。
我前两个月已经陆续抛出了绝大部分全部长期债券基金，今天抛出大部分中期债券基金。 剩下的债券差不多就是少量短期债券和 JUNK BOND了。 我打算增加一点 JUNK BOND 的HOLDING。不到FED 加息我不打算再增加长期债券和中期债券了。我不怎么 CARE 我持有的到底是债券还是什么。 我只 看一个基金过去10年，15年起伏的大小。我打算把35%的钱投到起伏比较小的ASSET CLASS 里面去。

2. the bond MF/EFT's NAV may drop say, 7%, but it also pays dividend (yield)
, so bond is still less variable than stock.
3. to replace bond MF; I am using conservative balanced funds (e.g. Vanguard
Wellington or Wellesley Income).

Google is going to acquire MMI at $40 per share. The deal will be done by
the end of June. The only risk is whether Chinese government will block the
deal. As far as I know, Chinese government has never blocked any foreign
mergers yet. Both US and Europe have agreed the deal. The expected return
will be around 2.3% in less than three months. That gives you about more

that big pharma's own R&D department hasn't been efficient in developing new
drugs these years. they put lots of recourses into it, but very few
blockbusters come out of their product lines. the recent mega level layoff
is an indication that many of them don't have anything big in their
pipelines as well, and they are preparing for this. so i think that in the
next few years, there may be big mergers across the industry. |

，参加过校队football或者wrestling, 成绩比起亚洲nerd们差很多，但是social水平
很高，见多识广，有人脉有长相。这些人22岁本科毕业去什么goldman sachs, morgan
stanley, jpmorgan做analyst, 要么 mergers & aquisitions 要么 sales and
trading. 以后可能去读一个harvard mba, 也可以不读。最后自然升到VP, Principle,
Managing Director, 几十年后可能就是下一个goldman sachs senior executive或者
总裁， 也有不少自己建立一个fund.
这些才是正真华尔街的career path, 才是真正的华尔街精英。 这些人靠什么？靠的是
什么monte carlo simulation, 什么 pde, 什么 C++ ? 错了，这些人靠的是他们anlgo
-saxon或者jewish背景，他们能说会道的能力， 从小熏陶的出来的 |
