Common Sequence就派上用处了。去年我就在production code里写了一个
类似的。其实基本的数据结构和算法在工作中多少要用到。BST/Linked List
就不说了。AST， Skip List, Matrix，Trie，Dynamic Programming，
Binary Search，Minimum Spanning Tree，Consistent Hashing，
Bloom Filter，Merkle Tree, Minimum Spanning Tree, 各类Hashing算
法，比如FNV，都在过去一两年遇到过。俺还是普通的码农。如果您老做
搜索，后台优化什么的，只要流量上去，各类数据结构立马滚滚而来。 |

如果有带宽小的问题，那么就要结合binary search的思想。
In server 1.
XOR bytes between start and mid position,记录xor的结果，然后将start and mid
positions 这个范围传个server2.
在server2 上同对这个范围内的byte XOR
比较两个XOR的结果。
1. 相同，那么寻找mid + 1 to end 范围内的byte
2. 不同， 寻找 start to mid 范围内的byte
虽然这样double了XOR的次数，但是减少了传输的压力。
不知道这个思路是否和出题者的意图接近，请指正。 |

large scale 方面
我google 的看了 mapreduce, gfs, bigTable, Spanner, chubby. google 的东西不太
好懂，而且没有源码可以参考。我觉得除了MapReduce 和 GFS 外，其他的过一遍就差
不多了。
facebook 的看了 cassandra, 这个有源码可以看，但是好像 很多地方和paper上面已
经不一样了。
yahoo 的看了 zookeeper，
Amazon 的看了 Dynamo， 我感觉这个最好，paper 比较好懂
所有的paper都是讲large scale 设计中的几个重要问题，
route(consistent hashing 还是B+ tree 类似的lookup table),
consistency, replica 的策略，
failure detection 和应对，
如果做预处理提高读取效率，
master election 策略，

虽然其实达不到能实现的水平 总还是能敷衍几句 吹吹牛逼的
还可以跟面试官打情骂俏表示跨zone大量数据可以用卡车
算法的话，没刷过随便面个最小割就挂了
还是得刷pxj 40w大苞谷。

- 前东家匹配广告的时候，第一版用到bipartite graph
- 给客户的网上商店生成Google Sitemap的时候，用depth first search
- 给客服的一个工具需要高亮表单差异，用的是改动过的longest common sequence
- 做负载平衡的时候实现了phi accrual failure detection
- 检查分布系统一致性的时候，实现了Merkle tree
- 系统间的multicasting用了gossip protocol
- 多台机器，要看哪台有问题，用了Grubb's Test来检测异常
- 处理错误或者负载问题时总得实现滑动窗口，bounded exponetial backoff一类的东
东吧？
专业的算法在startup里就更多了。比如前东家的clustering detection把统计物理的
某个模型套在图上，据说效果不错。
