metadata就是所有这些信息
用一个软件来管理，比人工的把unclegua放到某一个文件夹里，更符合人类思考方式啊。
我可能想不起来艺人叫什么名字了，但是我记得歌名，或者专辑名，可能记得专辑封面。
你放到文件夹里，怎么找啊？

iTunes只能Add files/folders to library，没有做到monitoring，
文件改名或移动都会造成无效的引用。只能自己小心维护。
懒惰的美国人民一般选什么keep files organized，让itunes把实际
文件(而不是metadata)一股脑拖进集中营。降低了数据的不一致性，
但也丧失了文件系统的灵活性。

感觉好的地方
1. 剪切板历史记录。很好。
2. 1GB的内存很大，818MB可用，内存里可以放很多程序。只要他们不怎么消耗电池，
这个我是无所谓。程序切换比较快。相比之下，iOS设备的内存一直较少。虽然iOS程序
和系统往往更流畅，但是物理限制决定驻留内存程序有限，程序切换的时候更多时候需
要程序重启。
混合感觉，有好有坏的地方
1. 四个按钮。
安猪的四个按键，是和iPhone操作最不同的地方之一。home的作用和iOS基本一样。
option键，隐藏了很多option，节约了界面空间，但是隐藏的话用户经常需要点击才能
查看我到底能干什么，也不是非常好。Consistency上，options有时候藏在里面，有时
候没有。确实不管是桌面还是移动操作系统，很少有做到人机交互高度consistent的，
除了苹果。
返回键，很多人喜欢，很多人不喜欢。有人认为是设计上的亮点，有人认为不是。我认
为有时候还不错，有时候也是缺乏consistency。用来在程序之间切换，比如从twitter

itunes也把我的音乐文件夹搞得一团乱，看着一堆文件被搞成各种奇奇怪怪的名字，那
是欲哭无泪。试了MusicBrainz Picard来恢复整理metadata，各种难用。后来狠狠心花
30刀买了个tuneup来清理，itunes一下子就清爽好用了。现在我有了12k的歌曲，用

为默认工具，找不到还真不能太怪人家。。
这个工具跟win下的照片导入工具是基本一样的，提供了一个对数码相机存储空间的交
互媒介。把数码相机直接mount成一个盘才是不
合适的。数码相机有自己的存储格式，虽然可以直接下载源文件但其实各种metadata都
搞乱了。不会出大事但其实它本身的设计就不是让用户直接操作其中数据的。打个比方，
苹果的live photo用photos导入是正常的，但如果用这个更低级工具导入后就变成了一个
jpeg加一个mov的格式。虽然你我明白怎么回事，但对于普通用户就是unnecessary
confusion。
iphone出来之前电脑其实一直没有发展过prototype的坎，很多普通用户根本不应该有
access的东西都没有封起来。iphone是第一个勇敢地把所有终端用户不应该access的东
西都封起来的电脑，真正让电脑成了消费商品。我知道这种风格其实降低了产品的功能
，但是在可靠性、安全性、易用性方面都大大提升，所以老头老太太才能用的那么舒服

- 大量数据主要是field测量数据，一百多个地点，每个地点几年测一次，一次有上万
条record.（没决定是否放进数据库。还是按ascii目录式管理）。
- 数据库要管理这些数据集(metadata）和相关的地点资料，数据分析报告，库存等相
关信息。
- 用户大概只有10多人，分布在四五个地点，其中有一半人要录入数据（所以要输入的
interface）；另一半人主要是管理者，所以主要各项信息的汇总（要report）。另外
这四五个地点的用户不希望自己的数据透露给其它地点的用户（user control），但透
露给管理员没问题。
-数据库软件的费用一定要低，几百块还行。编程和管理就我一个人，但是数据库开发
的时间可以比较长（可以从头学起）.
小弟本科是cs，当年学过一点数据库，软件工程，asp基本都还给老师了。现在会用
access（用一点vba）,sql比较熟。以前c,vb,matlab比较熟也挺久没用了。所以基本上
用什么数据库软件都得自学，另外单位有server，软件有access，用Windows xp.

步的数据分析。metadata/standing data不复杂，所以不是太麻烦。经常碰到的问题主
要是：
1.比如说外来的数据有变量（column）a， b， c...，我们自己的变量本来是x=a+b，
y=c*d...，但后来对数据有更多的理解，要该成case1 x=a+b， case2 x=a+e。这些逻
辑变化几乎每天都有。此外还有data cleansing的逻辑也很多，也经常要修改。现在都
是hard code到sp里。比较难维护。
2.不时会有data feed或者process failure，在下游发现错误，需要追溯问题源头。也
很花时间。

我的理解是，用我帐号装完了，我就logout! 我不知道server用哪个帐号运行。以前用
local administrator登录安装一直就这么下来的！任何用户想浏览，会通过dspace 的

大约有大四十个report 需要下载后重新deploy.但是report manger是不可用的因为没
有权限，也不能给予权限因为是客户的产品server.
但是有sql server权限可以query report server.
所以就写了个query把catelog.content 输出到rdl.文件，比从report manger备份快得
多。
同结构复制到新的report 应该可行，前提是其他的metadata也应该相同，比如
datasource. |
