2) 说中国人讲guanxi, 讲mianzi.故意强调这个。是个人的社会就有关系，就有面子。
白人傻逼好像装作他们字典里没有network, relationship, self-reputation这些词汇。
3）说中国人考试都是死记硬背，没有critical thinking。 高考数学后面几道大题是
死记硬背就能做出来的？美国人你来背背看，不用背，让你开卷考你能做出哪怕一题？ |

广州人有些特殊。昨日报载，广州人均消费水平全国第一，“最佳商业城市”全国第一
，但奢侈品店数量排第九……这组排名看起来是奢侈品消费拖了后腿，其实反映了广州
人身处“千年商都”，见惯浮华之后的平淡。
“千年商都”的名号不是靠零售业发达挣来的。所谓行商坐贾，狭义的“商”特指
批发兼物流业。广州历来是举世瞩目、众商云集的贸易中心，当代广州的功能被香港分
流了大半，珠三角由单一中心变成“哑铃型”的双中心，香港对外，广州对内。广州似
乎失去了国际大都市的荣光，不过仍有粤语可充当历史见证。现在海外华人社区粤语之
标准，足以令广州人脸红。
内地一些城市的奢侈品零售店数量超越广州，不仅反映消费者爱面子，也说明商城
的业主爱面子。由于国内税率高企的原因，光靠那些爱慕虚荣的消费者，其实支撑不起
多少奢侈品零售店。国际品牌店不少是商场业主贴钱请来撑场面的，有面子没实惠。近
年热炒的“奥特莱斯(OUTLETS)”可谓这种模式的极致，但红火的似乎不多。那些愿被

people are not using cellphones (widely). No one text and people jogging on
street are using brick-size CD players. I thought ahwoh americans really
dont know how to enjoy life....
Now it's like two ends. All the kids are using macbook and iphone/ipad. You
are right. The consumer-driven business is supposed to be rich(over rich) in
China where people only care about price vs mianzi. And now people buy good
