2) do not change more than 10% of water each day to the fish tank
There is a subtle microbial community balance with the fish. so if you
change more than 20% of water, then the fish is not in balance to it and can

wastewater from an oil refinery plant.
The client set a quite low MTBE effluent limit. I need to find out how
efficient an activated sludge system (with a SRT>25 days) can be in term of
MTBE removal. Recently there is literature showing that MTBE is not that
recalcitrant to biodegradation. However, based my understanding, there are
no conclusive data available yet.

发帖数: 93 | 49 本科化学，硕士过来读了环境工程，但跟的老板做microbial fuel cell。
现在很迷茫，一方面环境工程也就上了几门课，只是有个大概的了解，实验中不涉及其
他任何的处理技术，现在找做环境的工作，自己心里完全没底，而且不是工科出身，不
知道自己能不能行。
另一方面，实验的这个领域虽说好发文章，但距离实际应用还差十万八千里，我自己不
想读博也没有潜质搞研究，还是想做点实际应用的东西。虽说fuel cell和能源公司能
搭上点边，但人家要的也是术业有专攻的人，比如化工，机械工程之类的。
很后悔在选择出来读书之前没有规划好自己的未来，但现在已经到了这个地步，我应该
坚持走环工的路吗还是另谋出路呢？有没有不是环境工程出身的前辈们现在在这个领域
工作的?读了这么多年书，眼看连自己也要养不活了，挺揪心的，希望能尽快寻找到一
条可以努力的前途。
