毛坚强最近挺好的， 每天只需要0.1ml的类固醇
吹吹的时候，很激动， 很快跑向喂食点， 不过跑着跑着就摔倒了 -_-||
平日里面晒晒太阳，吃点饭，发发神经啥的，bbnn都正常
我坐着，她就趴趴大腿，不能跳了，只能求抱起 >_<
趴大腿练好了， 开始趴床， 她趴床沿的时候，几次误把爪子伸到俺嘴里。。。
每天过着平静幸福的小生活， 有马麻陪着， 还不是那么闷
报告完毕， 谢谢版上各位的关心。

Mellow，Meebo和大黑，是我完全救助的，不算trap哈。
Mellow：spay手术，止痛药四次，FVRCP 1针，rabies+上牌，microchip，deworm (
strongid),FeLV/FIV test
大黑： neuter， rabies， microchip
Meebo：spay手术，FVRCP 1针，rabies+上牌，microchip，FeLV/FIV test （我忘了要
止痛药和deworm了）
我个人花费，只出了
Mellow和Meebo的FeLV/FIV test, $46*2,
三只猫的FVRCP，$22*3
Mellow的strongid $17
Mellow的止痛药大概20多
之后吃了半袋Innova，买了一袋wellness CORE，一袋tidy cat, 一袋feline pine,另
外还有以前屯的worlds best，消耗量惊人。
因为猫多了，所以我后面还得买个carrier，不然带不去petsmart。 |

发帖数: 81 | 4 不清楚之前的经历，送给我的是一个白人老头，退休前是我们学校的老师，他老婆也是
老师。之前这猫都是他老婆在照顾，他们从shelter领来的。知道他以前就很霸气，经
常欺负他家一直看不见的盲小狗，小狗看不见，他就逗的人家到处撞墙，经常撞得头破
血流，就只能分开养，一屋一个。他家很大的，大概有五六间卧室的样子，就老两口住
所以有很多房间给分着养。后来老太太去世了，这猫就欺负老头儿，大半夜的跑到他屋
子里叫，在老头身上跳，或者在人家床上拉屎撒尿，挠老头。老头年纪大了，受不了了
，被他整的高血压了，就只能送人，好几家人都抱回去养过，不出一周就都送回来，因
为实在受不了。
老头就求助他的兽医，同时也是我的兽医，我兽医问我要不要养，没跟我说那么多。
老头开始就说这猫喜欢女的，因为他是男的所以讨厌他，他跟女孩子住就会脾气好，是
想他妈妈了。我想这娃挺可怜的，老头也被他折磨的高血压就领回家了，他以前主人又
是送这个又是送那个，还说他出钱给declaw,条件就是无论发生什么都不能再送还给他
。我奶奶暑假病危，我要回国一个月（原本没打算回去），求他能不能在他家放一个月

的。可能一般宠物店也能做。
我不打算用microchip，要知道那个不是gps，是必须拣到狗的人带它去vet扫描，然后
好心准备送回，那只要弄一个结实的collar，名牌挂好，遇到好心人一样管用。vet都
会推荐Microchip,training classes, 各种疫苗等等，我个人觉得商业气息太重，毕竟
这事狗说了不算，也无法表达不满，vet
说什么就什么吗？显然不行阿。
你的狗跟着你，你做他的主，只要你们小心，不会丢的。就跟还不会说话的小孩一样，
谁会microchip自己的孩子？即使照样有人丢孩子。 |

If you look carefully at the HomeAgain form, you don't HAVE to check that
you want to enroll in their "Network membership". Which is where they will
notify shelters and vets in your area if you call and say your pet is lost.
You don't HAVE to fill in the grey payment areas at the bottom of the form.
The form is deceptive and confusing.
Just fill in your name, address and phone number and mail it in.

说说故事吧。我在shelter里做过一段时间volunteer，可能是因为在AK吧，shelter里
面全是大型狗，真的是跟我差不多大，我根本没有办法handle。所以我一直想，如果我
养狗的话，要养一个小点的toy dog。
后来在petfinder上找到了这只狗狗，博美，当时特别的高兴！赶紧打了电话去shelter
问情况。这只狗狗是有人在荒郊野地里捡到了，送到了shelter。我都无法想象冰天雪
地的这只狗狗怎么会在那种荒郊野岭里出现。shelter说，这只狗狗已经有microchip了
，register的主人在同州开车距离7小时的地方。根据规定，microchip过的狗狗被送回
shelter后，要过10天才能够open to adoption。他们刚接到这只狗狗，所以要等他们
联系以前的主人，如果10天后联系不上或者主人不要了，就可以领养了。
于是当天下了班我就去shelter看这只狗狗。特别奇怪，只要待在笼子边上看着她，她
就很安静，人一离开，就开始叫。一见就觉得跟这个小家伙非常的有缘。当时我对博美

barcode标签一样，所以不会有没电这么一说的。兽医/shelter一般就是扫描一下，然
后把这个code弄到网上去查，就可以查出pet的信息了。
如果没扫描到，那可能不是你的猫，长的一样脾气又坏的猫太多了。还有一种可能就是
原先植的microchip可能跑到他身上其他地方了，这是有可能的，不知道有没有全身扫

所以，今天带她去microchip了，
同时，也顺便打了distemper combo,
只是，有件事情让我很后悔，因为搬家弄得太乱，没有找到停停以前的记录，所以医生
也给打了 rabies， 是管三年的，停停上一次的应该还未到期，所以应该是多打了，恨
自己！
回来之后停停的精神还不错，只是吐了好几次
一开始吐的时候没有在意，因为她昨天洗了澡之后，一直掉毛，第一＼二次吐的也都有
好多毛
结果后来看她过段时间就会吐，没有东西了还吐水
精神一直不错，还闹着出去玩了一会儿，回来也吃了一点东西，但一会儿又吐掉了
她以前打 distemper, rabies没有过敏，我不知道是不是今天一天做的东西太多，或者
她对microchip有过敏，今天又是周日，很担心，在线求建议！！

做了太多事情, 吃了不少苦头.
昨天晚上11点多,停停又吐了两次,我们开车带她去了emergency, VET也说chip应该没有

发帖数: 2312 | 31 看着象maltese跟terrier的mix。品种跟性格的关系只在统计上有意义。具体到每只狗
上还是各不相同的，要相处才知道。你说你这个很乖很听话，恭喜啦 :)
在你家附近找一家vet。看看网上review。主要看不好的review写些什么。关键要医生
负责有ethics，收费合理。
第一次去他们会给做一个一般的检查，会告诉你狗大概多大了，有没有microchip。大
概花费的话门诊40-50，验血（查heart worm）50。如果没有microchip或前狗主信息的
话，一针rabi是逃不掉了。忘了具体多少钱，但是不贵，最多几十吧。如果已经使成年
狗，我个人觉得其他针暂时就不用打了。你将来出门要把它寄到dog hotel之前，hotel
会要求你打kenel cough和parvo Bordertella combo。
如果有flea的话，可以用frontine或advantage。用合适的剂量。
可以让医生给开heartworm preventative的药，一个月吃一次。不过你如果在北方没什
么蚊子的地方，这个不用也没关系。

有一次在那花几块做了个，才用了3个月多点。
里面那块写着住址和电话的铁片就掉出来，只剩下外面的金属框！
我都纳闷儿是怎么掉出来的。。而且是不知不觉啊！不知道掉了多久我才发现了
ID tag还是这种一整块的好点
不过我是支持打microchip的。因为万一狗跑丢了
tag掉了，或者上面字磨损得看不清楚，还是得靠microchip啊
增加点回家的几率总是好的。打了这个也不至于给狗的健康带来很大的影响 |

我家Sonny是搬到我这里前有人给chip的，去vet查了一下号码，回来打电话给home
again，然后他们会记一些基本信息，email一个表给你。你填好了email回去，就可以
update了。

Wheaten Terrier， 有microchip.前主人告诉说疫苗都打了，只需要boost。但我没有
想到paper work。请问如果通过scan microchip会知道需要什么疫苗么?
另外今天早上溜他时候，发现他见到其他的狗有点jumpy，请问需要如何训练？
请问我的下一步应该是做什么？有好的vet推荐么？需要买保险或者wellness plan么？
