以来的第一个review。对此没有经验，不是很确定哪些东西该说，哪些不该说。
在此，就一个特别困惑我的问题，请教一下各位。
过去这两个月来，我喝manager合作了两个项目。我感觉，我做了很多超出我的职
责范围的事情。本来这两个项目他是主要负责人，但是由于他很忙（虽然我也不知道他
到底在忙什么），于是很多事情都是我替他做的。目前项目进展得还可以。可是这两个
月来，我的压力还是蛮大的，而且老得加班（还没加班费）。。。
因此，我觉得我应该在midyear review上提一提这个问题。要是不提的话，想必他
以后就更加“喜欢”跟我合作了吧，然后让我干大部分的活。。。（我想得对么？？）
可是，要提的话，怎么说才合适呢？

stress做residency。平常接触resident和clinical pharmacist的机会很多。
prefessor感觉也普遍看不上retail。但是我不是那么上进的人啦·~~就想赶紧毕业工
作。版上有很多同学要去嘛？ |

ASHP midyear主要是给医院临床和residency grogram这方面的人聚会
做retail的去networking意义不大
不过有钱有时间的话，去看看也不错 |

发帖数: 2770 | 14 7月份开始：开始选择programs，ASHP Residency Directory是一个很好的工具，可以
按照地理位置搜索。不过7月份时候很多Program都刚开始，所以他们的信息都还没有跟
新。不过你可以开始考虑。我问了我的preceptors帮我挑选，哪里好之类的。有些
Program要supplemental essay，你可以开始准备了。
8月份：我已经开始update CV, draft letter of intent。网上有很多资料的，多搜搜
。Intent最后是10月底写完的。写完之后要给多个人review，提意见。我review过的CV
拿到midyear依然有typo，杯具啊。。。
11月份：ask for letter of recommendations。问的时候顺便把CV, letter of
intent一同交给references，让他们可以有东西可以写。
12月份：去midyear之前要确定哪些program你要去咨询，showcase地图打出来，
highlight好Program的位置和时间。准备好问题，打印在纸上，带上notebook就可以进

I was going to do the second year residency, so I interviewed with a couple
of hospitals for PGY-2 at midyear back to last December. Even though I was
not really looking for a job during that time, I still applied for few
hospitals in California just in case I change my mind regarding the PGY-2
residency.

gramma checked. Really have to make sure that there is no gramma error and
typo.
I also heard that next year, all applications will be submitted
electronically. Applicant will pay a base fee for certain number of program
you will apply, with addition program you will apply, there will be
additional fee associated with it.

有很多residency program都会去参加，如果看中了有可能当时就interview， 但不知
道这个跟正式的residency申请有什么关系，是不是之后还是要去面试一下，这个pps只
是增加面试的机会。pps有很多招人的公司也会去，不知道主要是什么类型的公司和工
作。有没有必要参加呢。希望用过的前辈们可以share一下经验。 还有就是怎么才能更
好的利用这个midyear meeting呢。真后悔去年没去，不然现在也不会两眼一抹黑了，

发帖数: 352 | 22 我在 residency 之前就没有去过midyear。去年PGY1去站showcase，人真是太多了，除
非是竞争激烈的大program，你之前套过瓷了，去了见个面增强一下印象，不然效果不
大。showcase 人好多，人挤人，闹哄哄，讲话都要喊着讲，学生们大部分去了就是旅
游，party了。找工作的话 pps 据说位置不是很多，还要额外交钱才能去。而且大部份
是为了PGY2的面试。
如果你是为了全国各地找工作那去看看pps 也可以。local 找工作，或者residency 我
觉得不用去 midyear 也可以。 |

发帖数: 523 | 23 关于具体申请的过程，很多地方都可以找到经验，这里就不详细讲了。今年开始用
phorcas。大大减轻了申请的负担。可以轻松的申请多个学校了。我们这边大家都讲说
要申请到10-15所，因为现在竞争太激烈了。Letter of intent要言之有物，不要空洞
，泛泛而谈。所有的材料都要proofread，没有错误。
关于去midyear，我个人觉得去showcase主要是了解programs，而不是一定要展示自己让
人记住自己，当然如果可以做到那最好。去midyear还可以认识更多的人，增加相互了
解的机会。 更重要的是看看周围人都是怎么努力的。反正我去了之后是觉得我的紧迫
感大大增加了。 |
