有个地方始终没搞太明白，Elite Qualifying Millage和Redeemable Millage到底啥关
系呢？
比如，假设我一年攒了50k，可以加PLT了，是不是这50k作为EQM用了，就废了
然后还是以PLT为例，在2年有效期内，100%的millage bonus是说，我每飞一个trip，
就可以免费换一个同样（里程）的trip么？
两年后，如果想renew PLT，还需要同样的条件（50k mile，或者challange）么？
两年结束的时候，没有换的里程数，是不是就作废了呢？在版上看到的订杂志保留里程
，是什么意思呢？
最后，现在还有challange么？好神秘的样子。。。

。想到所有能到的地方转转，可是又不了解路况，我们就全程订了SUV。
大岛：
想去的景点道路状况好。兜风用convertible可能更舒适。
租车车型 chevy equinox 2014，millage只有2千多，bluetooth标配，内部空间感觉比
实际的要大，没有拥挤的感觉，省油高速目测有30mpg。
Maui：
340一些路段和东南方向330的一些路段，路面窄，还有没pavement的地方，最好上窄点
儿的高底盘的车。路不好开，但是绝对值得去。
租车车型 nissan xterra 2013，millage有6千多，没有bluetooth，有USB口可以接
iphone，窗户大，后排的小孩比较开心。
Oahu：
除了Ka'Ena Point 那段，路况跟大岛差不多。要兜风上convertible吧。我只看见Jeep
和皮卡试图往Ka'Ena Point开。山坡很陡不知道一般的SUV灵不灵。

是travel很多,如果不是, 就留sapphire, 关plus.
最后决定留sapphire,让把millage plus关掉, 把plus上的cridit line都移到
sapphire上,没问免年费的事情, 觉得这个卡值得留,否则freedom的点数走转不了. |

你可以再去那里问一下：

另外，我家的地税，是按fair market value的40%做为基数（net taxable value）来
计算地税的。
如果是去年成交的，fair market value就是成交价。我去年买的short sale的房子，
居然也按成交价来算的，他们都懒得重新评估了，给我省了几百刀税。
然后94雁过拔毛，county,city,BOE,911都在这个net taxable value基础上按各自的
millage来征税。
我的assessment上最重的是BOE，millage 是0.02，county oper 是0.0056，city oper
是0.006.
看来地税的大头是养学校的。想想也算了，好歹是个好学校，比国内的学校便宜多了，
呵呵。
评估单上有appeal的申请表格的连接，你可以按要求去提交申述，但是如果房子是最近
买的，我觉得理由不充分啊。除非近期又有一套附近的房子低价成交。... 阅读全帖 |

day and I never had problem with it.
The car has been maintained very well. Besides regular engine oil change,
