得无比的（腓一23）；然而信徒最大的盼望，是“最后终局”，即基督再来时身体复活
，灵魂身体完全得赎（多二13；罗八23）。在“离开世界”与“基督再来”之间，称为
“居间之境”。
1. 身体的死亡
圣经论到身体的死亡，与灵魂的死亡有区别（太十28；路十二4）。“身死”是肉身
生命的终止或失丧（路九6；约十二25）；是身体与灵魂的分离（传十二7；雅二26）。
死亡是罪的结果，也是罪的刑罚（创二17，三19；罗五12-17，六23），这并非自然的事
