其它地方都还好，唯独感觉 San jose 和 milpitas 交界landess ave.的这块地方，
空气真的很脏，和国内差不多了，几天不擦桌子，就一层土，很脏很脏。
听说有垃圾场在附近，倒是很少闻到很难闻的气味。 |

发帖数: 75 | 5 一月份开始到南湾工作了，LD工作在milpitas，我的在sunnyvale，打算在milpitas或
者North San Jose附近找个一居室。希望能在LD的步行范围内，因为刚去的时候只有一
辆车，如果我加班，LD能步行回家。
调查觉得River Oak的地点很合适，那边有两家, Elan 和 Fountains， Elan貌似抱怨
silverfish和mould得比较多， Fountains的评论很少。
预算在1500附近，North park有些贵了，1700+
现在人在康州，不能到那边看看，希望能听听大家的意见，给些信息，如果有房源当然
更好。

行，可是你是四口之家。孩子各种开销都很大，还考虑买房。。。基本是很恐怖的事情
。一点没有夸张，吓你的意思。www.movoto.com可是看看房子情况。Milpitas有两小学
800+，初中高中不行。Milpitas地理位置好，四通八达，但不是追求学区人考虑的地方
。这里跟其他州不一样，每个城市很小，按的近。我lg上班２０分种车程过四个城市。
你再考虑考虑吧。我感觉你如果来北加，先租房，了解了情况再考虑买。 |

far away from 臭味 and county jail. but if you live near 880, especially
in northern part of Milpitas, you may suffer from 臭味 and county jail
problem.
there is a nice community near Landess and Piedmont Hill, houses are newer,
streets are nicely landscaped, lots of parks. And the air is actually
better than central part of valley like sunnyvale, cupertino, daytime the

就也这样也没有什么问题，问题是那里的trafic还非常可怕，弯曲最堵的路估计就是237在milpitas的那一段了。
基本上也就东湾工作的人或者milpitas工作的人能住那里，但是，东湾工作的人为啥不住fremont？ 房子便宜多了。南湾工作的人也没有兴趣住那边去啊，价格和sunnyvale比没有什么明显优势。
总之呢，其实也就是远离工作，交通堵塞了。 |

发帖数: 59 | 20 不要靠近880就可以，靠近680会好很多，一年大概会有十几二十天会味道比较明显，主
要是雨后。其它时候基本没什么味道，如果住在680以东，就完全没有味道。
Milpitas生活和交通都很方便，如果你觉得与开一两小时上下班相比，忍受一年十几天
的异味尚可接受的话，可以考虑Milpitas。 |

smell into Milpitas and Warm Spring area of Fremont.
most of the smell actually comes not from Landfill, but from the marshland
and sea salt ponds in the bay. the landfill only smells if something is
broken in the facility.
the marshland and pond smells are worse than the landfill, but there can be
smelled anywhere around the bay, I have sensed these same smell in bayland

It takes at least 20 mins just to "get on board" from either Milpitas or
Fremont. |

Zanker. It is worse after the express lane project. The express lane seems
designed for Fremont. But milpitas and north san jose area get the pain.
North san jose area still has Montague Express as alternative route.
Milpitas is hit the hardest. I don't understand why VTA adds a lane to 237. |

区影响较小，一年没几天能闻到味道。上面喊臭的不过是想把你忽悠到他们的地区去买
房，他们不会告诉你或者是不知道Milpitas不同的地区受臭味的影响截然不同。相比于
它的价钱，对比它的地理位置，亚裔人口，便利的商业区，性价比还算不错的。 |

哪怕是 starter home, 湾区很多老人一听到 Milpitas的反应就是皱眉毛，臭，不能住。
听到 North San Jose 就感觉好一点，很多人听到会点点头说，哦，我当初第一栋房子
也在 North SJ.
很多小年轻买第一栋房子的时候，男的想买 Milpitas 都被女方闹得不了了之了。因为

Not to mention Warm Springs district belongs to Fremont's better area. It'd
be more reasonable to compare Warm Springs against the entire Milpitas.
Commuting wise, Warm Springs is really no much worse than Milpitas. The
difference could be as less as couple minutes of local driving.

看你具体指的是那几个小区，Milpitas的环境和95132差不多，交通的话Milpitas离880
，680，237都近，感觉更方便更urban但是San Jose可能说起来更好听。在这些地方买
个新点的房子，以后租出去都不成问题。
学区就不要考虑了，如今的年轻人反正无论如何都要送私校。 |

计，总共收到94封签名信，现已全部上交组织，会一并寄出。由于我们面对的大部分都
是华人，所以大部分群众都是非常支持我们的，有些直接过来要求签名，表示已经对情
况很清楚了。也有听到华人内部的不同声音，有一位华人一直拉着我们的志愿者说，如
果不让西裔上大学也很成问题。。。
下面是这次活动的一些心得体会，希望能对下次活动有帮助：
1。 我们对周围选区的分布还可以更熟悉一些，尤其是各选区的分界线在哪里。建议一
个组里可以有1－2个业务熟悉的同学负责帮助找选区。
2。 Milpitas可能是由于靠近880和237，交通方便，所以有很多我们没意想到的较远地
区的群众来购物，比如Moringa，San Francisco，San Mateo，Dublin等等。幸好今天
Jingqun自备了通用版的签名信，可以给这些“偏远”地区的群众使用。下次如果组织
负责提供签名信的话，可以准备一些通用版的以备不时之需。
3。 今天的太阳太大了，到活动的后半段我们都感觉晒晕了。。。建议下次或者找一个
