smaller pot if you are indeed ahead. If you get raised on turn, i can assure
you that you are behind most of the time unless it is a miniraise. If you
get called, you can consider check call or check fold river depending on
sizing, board structure and villian.

Flop A5J rainbow..
donk lead 20$, chinese check calls calls. pot is probably around 70$
turn is another A.
chinese check, donk bets 7$ chinese miniraise to 14, donk reraise to 55$.
chinese calls.
river is a 2.

You check flop you lose value over long run...set of 6 over set of J. 怎样打都是到all in... 因为这手牌他如果觉得check that river is good. 长期他损失的value 会更大... 我可以是J 或 Q. all unlikely to put in another bet but will call another bet...Particularly that hand has no clear draw, so i obviously had a made hand on flop. even small 2 pair is possible. 这种miniraise flop, check river, 长期只能伤到自己..But it is great. fish is going to be result oriented lik... 阅读全帖 |

small on flop you need to build up the pot anyhow. You cannot hope to do so
on turn (too late).
On turn, whether another same-color or not, one will stay(either check-raise
you or you X big on his). |

straight. If he mini-raised flush draw, i think he is priced in to call. He
is probably worried about a bigger flush draw, but who knows.. maybe he has
an air hand that just want to steal. Any made hand that he raise with, i
think he will call that shove. |

think somebody should have done this kinda analysis and calculated the odds
already, but I couldn't find it.
Let's also assume I have the image of loose and likes to steal at bubble,
and both SB and BB are like 20/15.
It seems to me AQ+ is way too tight. I was more thinking about whether A2
worths it or not. Could you elaborate more on your analysis?
Is a miniraise an option here besides push or fold?

pot be only 13.5bb?
your c bet should be around 2/3 pot. Not too big, but not too small. Facing
mini raise, i think it is 50 50 to shove or fold. The board hits your range
very heavy, so I think his raise is for real. But with that being said, he
could also miniraise this with 10J QJ 109 and 10s KQ all the pair with gut
shot hand and all his flush draws, pair with flush draw. So I probably shove myself. 3 bet pre is good.... 阅读全帖 |

我是2015年决定开始玩一点比赛的，以前一直玩现金，偶尔玩一下比赛，2015年看见那
个kelly minkin，就是2015主赛事最后留下来的那个女律师，打比赛赢了不少钱，心里
也有点痒痒的。因为以前我们在凤凰城是天天在一起打现金的，所以认识。看很多认识
的人run deep in tournaments，我心想我比他们现金都玩的更好，他们能赢那我也应
该赢啊。所以2015 wsop 前买了两本比赛的书：the raiser's edge 和 kills
everyone. 看了还是有点帮助的，至少知道了比赛各种筹码量的不同战术。之后就只有
通过比赛经验学习总结提高了。
比赛和现金最大的区别就是筹码量的不同。现金筹码深，压力小，没有涨盲，没牌就扔
，不用担心点盲点成短筹。虽然我现在打比赛比以前多一些，主要是打structure好的
