花絮：
两天前王欢喜造访多伦多，作为陪吃团首席吃客，俺非常圆满的完成了陪吃任务，不但
数量多，而且质量好——直接将carb loading升级为meet loading，夜里回到家称体重
后，忧心忡忡的发现，这顿把非相当于我每只手各拎了两瓶矿泉水
比赛：
早上5:30受到老铁的短信：it’s gonna misable，我打开窗户，果然是风雨交加，天
气预报是35km/h的大风，丫难得准一次，今天居然应验了。7:30开跑，之前浪费了一些
时间，以至于我们比赛前一分钟还在使劲往前挤。我今天的策略是前10k保持160以下的
心率，后10k push到165，很快我发现这个想法太乐观了，也许是心率带本身的问题，
也许是我状态不好，心率高居170不下，自己没觉得有太大问题，于是就维持着这个心
率。前10迈没什么好说的，我基本能保持sub8的pace，也没觉得很tough，转折点在10
迈之后的一个小坡，上去之后就感觉岔气了，痛的我每迈一步都很艰难，但我没停下来
，之前的经验告诉我，一旦我停一次，就还会有第二次，第三次。。。最后的3迈对我

classmates doing their postdo right now. We are all over 40 years old. When
you have a family and live on postdo salary and slave-type of life, it's
pretty misable. Half of the guys graduated in that year are in US but only
two of them are faculties right now as far as I know. I switched to finance
in late 90s and the bonus I got each year alone are more than 6-7 times of
postdo salary.

intense competition. Phd in pharmaceuticals are much better. They usually
do formulation, clinical pharmacology. Chemists are misable under current
patent cliff and outsourcing... |
