My sister worked (briefly) as Director of Red Cross’ public relations in XX
—she left because she couldn’t represent them in good conscience, she said
, because they mishandled funds raised – hiding administrative costs, using
the money for things other than relief, and mis-stating the funds needed
and spent. And apparently this is standard throughout the organization. |
