自然听不懂，她说是波斯语，她从伊朗来。我才知道伊朗不说阿拉伯语。
我看她不像muslin， 衣着比较non-muslin， 我就问她是不是muslin， 她说不是，她
信仰的那个我也不懂。我说我是中国人，于是我们俩就谈起目前的伊朗政府和中国政府
关系好，她说她是由于伊朗的革命迫害他们家族，逃离了伊朗。她很健谈，说了很多穆
斯林的坏话，说这帮穆斯林是communist muslin。
她的这个communist muslin让我想起来了communist Christian missionary， 一个加
拿大传教士文幼章，他参加了宋美龄和蒋介石在重庆的新生活运动，是这个运动的顾问
，后来被共产主义思想影响，倾向于左翼，得到周恩来的欣赏。他自己所在的差会怀疑
他是共产主义者，后来他自己辞了职，他当时就认为他做的一切，看上去与communism
很像，但那是发自他内心的calling， 也就是神召。
communism这股思潮的影响面还真的很大，跨宗教了。 |

义的描述。
英国 Will Durant 写的名著《世界文明史》的第一卷《Our oriental heritage 》。
从名字看就是明显的西方中心。写于上世纪初期，其中对中国的描写还不错。我发现，
从16世纪到20世纪初期，凡是对东方有一点了解的，基本都是对中国观感不错。
但是在50年代以后，也就是中共上台，西方历史著作对中国人整体的评价急转直下了。

基督教的确热衷于传教，这个跟他们的教义有关吧。信上帝得救，不信的就要下地狱，
所以基督徒相信自己有拯救别人的使命。贵教佛教好像正好相反，佛教徒一般不会不择
手段劝人皈依，而且信佛还讲究缘分，悟经讲究慧根。这么说来，基督教门槛也有点低
。有些基督徒尤其热衷向中国人传教。美国民间有种可笑的观点，认为东亚人尤其是中
国人没有灵魂 (chinese don't have souls)，亟需解救。
基督教的不包容也是事实，历史上教内各派的冲突都不计其数，更不要说和伊斯兰的战
争了。这大概是所有一神教的共性吧。伊斯兰教有过之无不及。
基督教归根到底是教人向善的。大部分基督徒都挺善良单纯的，乐于助人。美国是收养
中国孤儿最多的国家，每年达到4000多人，05，06年时是高峰，近8000人。绝大部分收

今天，我非常震惊地发现，1946年《远东国际军事法庭判决书》（International
Military Tribunal for the Far East Judgment）网上居然有英语全文，那可是1500
页的文件啊。
我从不知道，这么重要的第二次世界大战的文件，网上居然可以轻易找到！国内媒体好
像从来没有宣传过这件事。我查了国家图书馆的数据库，发现这个文件很可能没有出版
过中译本。我不知道台湾是否出过中译本，当年南京政府应该有中文版的。
我对这个事情很不理解。
这是第一手的历史原件，历史价值就不用说了，对于爱国主义教育和揭露日本军国主义
的罪行，都有巨大的价值。可是，为什么大家都不知道呢？这是公共领域的材料，没有

看Bowen自己的回忆1947年Marine的分队在一个秦皇岛的营地被共军包围了，共军要求
他们投降，Marine坚持了一晚上后成功撤离。有少数Marine之前出去喝啤酒被共军俘虏。
Bowen他们夜里挖了很多散兵坑，其中一个挖到了一箱子骨头，但夜里很吓人他们就把
箱子又埋上了。
1941年太平洋战争开始前北京协和医院把北京人头盖骨的箱子给撤离的Marine带走，运
往秦皇岛计划上米国军舰，但期间战争爆发，军舰搁浅，Marine成了日军俘虏，头盖骨
箱子下落不明。后来看估计是被仓促埋在了秦皇岛的营地 （Camp Holcomb）。

这个题目准确地说应该是《中国的路：从“枪杆子里面出政权”到人民币》，虽然“枪

先说中国的路其实是中国文明的路，或者说仅仅看到中国是一个国家是不够的，还要看

零，中国的“崛起”是中国文明的“崛起”
大家都知道，中国这个概念不仅仅是一个国家而是一个文明。一个文明的生存空间往往
大于代表这个文明的国家的土地，但是近代在来自西方文明的竞争面前 中国文明的生
存空间被压缩进了中国的国土的内部。因此，中国的发展或“崛起”的概念不仅仅是一
个国家的概念而是一个文明：中国文明的发展或“崛起”的概 念。

如梦如烟的往事，点点滴滴记在心头，现在写下来，就算是
为了即将忘却的纪念吧
我和Tijunna也算有缘，早在青涩的学生时代，就曾经在Tijunna
签过证，当时一心都在准备材料，根本没心情寻欢作乐，随着
时间的流逝，我工作，拿到绿卡，稳定下来，饱暖思淫欲，再次
踏入Tijunna时，带的已经不再是I-20, T/G成绩，而是绿卡和美元。
一心所想的不再是签证，而是Hot 的拉丁美女了。
去Tijunna很方便，我当时在San Diego出差，连旅馆和租车都省了

本主义联络感情。本来还算顺利，但是到了德国总理默克尔这儿，出了这么件事：－默
克尔笑呵呵的送了张地图，习总笑呵呵的收了。
前一阵因为别的事情，查了不少中国和中亚的老地图，看到送礼还有送地图的，觉着新
鲜，网上找来默克尔的地图一看，心里就有点堵。先看看这张图：
这是一张清康熙年间关内十八省的地图，是德国人1740年制版，根据的是法国皇家第一
地理学家／制图师Jean-Baptiste Bourguignon dp~pAnville 1734年的地图绘制的，而
dp~pAnville没去过大清朝，他的地图是根据在中国的耶稣会教士Jean Baptiste du
Halde（杜赫德）汇报回来的数据编制而成。杜赫德怎么来的数据？是康熙四十年间皇
上让这些教士跋山涉水，按西洋新法测绘的，重要的数据耶稣会自然保存了一份送回欧
洲。德国人的这张图在右下角的说明里用拉丁文老老实实的纪录了以上几位的贡献，显
得传承有序：
