车过河的时候突然想起南北战争以前，农奴们一旦逃过Mississipi River，便被认为是
自由的。在其中，很多很多奴隶被这无情的河水吞噬。刚过河的Great River Bluffs
State Park很赞，几处看河的overlook真是非常漂亮。河水看上去很沉重，流淌的艰难
而缓慢。河中浅的地方有砂石浮出的岛，岛上长满了树，有的地方岛和水的界限并不分
明，于是便成了一片绿色的沼泽。河很宽，像湖。这片地方就像Boundary Waters浓缩
后的一隅。相比之下，几处看山的overlook倒是一般了，也需要等秋天吧~ |

版上New Orleans的攻略较少，试着贡献一篇。土人一个，比较粗陋，多多见谅。
圣诞期间夜到达New Orleans机场，已经没有公共交通了，机场到French Quarter
shuttle要$20一位，于是直接打Uber,$33统一价。这几天温度相当不错，回升到70来度
，湿度比较大。我们的Uber Driver说之前几天曾降到50来度。
到酒店入住。总体来说住French Quarter比较方便，特别是喜欢泡吧和夜店的人们。第
一天就在French Quarter玩了。饮食娱乐一条街bourbon street就在区里，适合步行逛
一逛。这里也有评价很好的餐馆，比如Acme Oyster House。午餐11点左右去的，人还
不是很多，几分钟就有位置了。个人觉得他家的碳烤生蚝很咸，而且有不少碎壳，吃的
时候要很小心，实在不怎么样。Po-Boy还不错。不过等我们傍晚回酒店时候，发现他家
的队伍已经排过街的转角了。其余好玩的地方如Jackson Square和Royal Street也很近
。有不少博物馆和卖艺术品的商店，很值得一看。

IMDB源于Wales的某个大学，这是我最近才听说的。
我开始用IMDB时她是在Mississipi State U 的某个服务器上。
后来IMDB Goes Professional，成为imdb.com。再后来被Amazon买下。
我算是和IMDB一起成长的吧，受到很多启发，也因为觉得IMDB不能很好
地收藏中文电影资料(语言不同的先天问题)才开始做中文电影资料库。
不过自IMDB被Amazon买下，商业味道愈来愈浓，成了Amazon分部。
这是我所不喜欢的。当然可以理解发展需要财政支持，但我倾向这样的
网站应该有独立性，与商业机构有合作关系，但不能给一家包了。
IMDB的评分，我也曾很重视。但当自己有了一套欣赏标准后，就再不参考这个
评分。我说过，这是口味问题，不是好坏问题。 |
