even close. But, if you have set your marathon goal pace, you can do Y800
according to your goal marathon pace, and it would suffice as a speed
workout. The idea is to do the training at an intensity that your body can
absorb. If you run Y800 very hard, it doesn't mean that you will necessarily
be able to run a marathon that fast. |

In missoula marathon, which is at
3200ft, one's performance is expected to be slowed down by 2-3 minutes.
Starting at 5000ft the altitude
effect increases dramatically with the altitude. In 1968 Olympics at Mexico

runners were severely affected by the altitude while the Kenyans and
Ethiopians dominated all distance

My two best marathon races came 5,6 weeks after a poor marathon race (3:16 @ vermont in 2009, after 3:27
with cramp in vienna 2009, and 3:08 @ missoula 2010, after 3:15 @ buffalo 2010). |

发帖数: 2625 | 25 D5（6/21): 今天行程比较松，所以多睡会，八点起来，从I90到Missoula，上US93去
Columbia Falls 住，两点多住下后，三点半从公园东门进去，从管理员那里知道贯穿公
园东西的Going to the Sun Road中间从Avalanch 到Lagon Pass这段因为塌方关闭了。这
样先前想第二天从此路穿越公园然后从另一端走I15回盐湖城的计划就要改了，明天就要
走US2绕过公园南端从西门进去再从原路出来。
因为只有一天半时间，所以超过两里长的小路都就都没时间走了，当天走了雪崩湖（
Avalanch Lake）的小路，这条路来回四里长，两个多小时走完，又被蚊子咬了若干口，
尽头的湖真不觉得好看，其实四分之一里处的雪崩溪比较漂亮，走到那里就不用再往前走
了。
D6(6/22): 6天起来走US2到公园东门，这里的Sun Point是早晨拍St Mary湖野鹅岛的好点
，我曾经看过一张拍野鹅岛日出的照片，可惜已经玩得太累，没法三点多起来跑到Sun
Point等太阳了。今天走了一下St. Mary Falls的小路，Hidden Lake小路仍旧被数尺深积

，希望能给没去的朋友一些参考。总共出去了六天，实际上在黄石公园玩了三个整天。
从7月16号到21号。
由于差不多提前一个月研究了路线和游记，所以准备的非常充分。关键的一点是自
己开车去，最大号的SUV，带了炉子和厨具，两个电饭锅，提前做好了卤牛肉鸡蛋，红
烧肉啊，排骨过水了冻起来，两个大冰盒满满的全是肉和菜。带了十几种水果，后来吃
不完都扔掉了。甚至连桌椅都带了。事实证明这是让本次游玩最为舒服的因素之一。因
为带着一个老人和2岁多的小孩，能让她们吃好，才能玩好。
吃和行的问题解决了，就是住了。提前一个月计划的时候，打电话给园内没有任何位
置了，这也在意料之中，本来因为带着老人和小孩，也打算住在西黄石，这样条件会好
一些。于是打电话特意问了有冰箱和微波炉的房间。发现价格还不算离谱。大概好几个
旅馆在含税100块左右。于是订了三天。
第一天， 从华盛顿州出发，中午在MISSOULA，MT 停了一下，在CHINA BUFFET吃午
饭。非常便宜，一个人6.5，很出乎意料。有一个蒸菜和鱼做的不错，还有 |

，那么前后可以是两家公
司，完全没影响。
另外这几个地方虽小，但还是有local租车点的。比如Missoula 就有Alamo/national,
dollar, enterprise三个公司有local
location. 你把中点放到机场和放到local的效果是一样的。 |

或者Seattle/ Mt. Rainier / Cascades / Mt. Baker
或者Spokane / Coeur d'Alene / Missoula / Glacier
每天悠然见南山，总好过一家人旅途劳顿，孩子见天'are we there yet' |
