一
译出上一本书以后，由于暂时没有适合翻译的新书，我开始给自己放假：每
天坐在厨房的录音机旁，边听磁带边看电子书。三天前，随便拿出一盘《美国乡
村音乐系列情歌》（The best of country & western Vol.2），A面的第一首是
节奏轻快的《神龙帕夫》（Puff, the Magic Dragon）。这首歌我不知听过多少
次了，却从没有注意过歌词的内容。于是，我拿起磁带的歌片，看了看它的歌词。
然后，我被歌词的内容迷住了——我不能完全看懂它的象征意味，这反而让它显
得更加迷人。我想，这绝不是普通的流行歌曲，一定在西方或者说美英文化生活
中留下过印记。为了求证这一点，我必须上网。
我打开电脑，连上网络，在百度百科中发现了一篇谈论《神龙帕夫》的文章：
“‘有歌评这样说：这首歌主要是谈小孩子长大的过程，及对环境的感受。
歌词中的Puff实为一虚构的奇异龙，用此来影射孩子小时侯很喜欢小玩具，长大
后就把奇异龙甩掉，因为孩子已慢慢长大，对这种虚构的东西已不再有兴趣了’。

发帖数: 9475 | 4 我们家有crane这个，可是说明书上说要用蒸馏水，总是要去walmart
买蒸馏水好麻烦。网上研究了一下，如果不用蒸馏水，水里的矿物杂质
就会跟着水雾一起被人吸到肺里，家具上久而久之会有白色沉积。所以
很多cool mist加湿器都是带过滤网的，需要定时更换过滤网。这个
crane没有过滤网，所以要求用蒸馏水。
其实这是cool mist加湿器的一大缺点。而热的Warm mist加湿器出来的
是蒸汽，所以保证没有杂质和细菌。其实热的也没有那么不安全啦，放
在孩子够不到的地方就好。而且我们家的那个warm mist加湿器，那个蒸
汽口我把手放在上面根本不觉得烫。缺点是水里的白色杂质不断沉淀在
加湿器里面，加热环上很快就堆积厚厚一层水垢很难清理，每次买个新
的用两年就坏掉了。不过我想总比这么多的水垢都吸到肺里好 |

的用了5年了），噪音小多了，但是这个vicks是warm mist的，出气口略烫，不知道小
婴儿使用会不会有隐患，现在是给公婆使用。
当时也买了Vicks cool mist的，噪音和那个crane的一样，不知道是牌子问题，还是
cool mist就是原理不同所以噪音大。但是那个crane小动物的除了极其可爱，质量看着
真不好啊。。。。 |

其实我觉得初中差一点可以忍受，因为实在不行就去私立，只有三年，也没有高中那么
贵。小学差去私立钱就比较多了。进公立高中还不就是省钱么。虽说小学对孩子的影响
不像高中那么大，但还是有影响的。环境造人，从小就要把关啊

堆。
ultrasonic的基本谈不上吵。 我对声音很敏感，ultrasonic humidifier这东西我用了
起码有6年，基本1-1.5年换一个，从没感到吵过。
warm mist humidifier相对于cool mist humidifier来说用电会多一点点，另外就怕烫
伤之类的事。
ultrasonic humidifier会有white dust产生，如果你本身没啥呼吸毛病的，这点white
dust算不了什么问题。 |

一段时间(10分钟)让它吸足水分。叶子上用喷些水。水需要是隔夜的，不要用龙头
直接出来的。一旦它太干我就沁水里抢救，百试不爽呀呵呵。

everything in the vicinity was soaking wet - floor, bed, etc., as the mist
fell
First, the unit does not send mist up. As soon as it is emitted from the two
spouts, it just drops to the floor.
It does need to be placed several feet above the floor surface or it will
get wet.
This humidifier is horrible. When you turn it on, the mist goes straight
down to the ground, soaking the carpet. |

发帖数: 9429 | 22 Aprilaire 800我曾经在班上也有提到过，是一个非常优秀的蒸汽加湿器，装了后不会
后悔，价钱是贵了一点，可是它解决了其它类似蒸汽加湿器scale 清理的问题，不过要
有心理准备，因为运行成本上去了，每年需要换里边的内胆，每年要多花60-80刀，
heating season 每个月大约要多花25-30刀的电费。遗憾的是这台机子101%不适合您，
这是加装在forced Air 系统上或forced Air 暖气设备上的，蒸汽喷射出来的高温是非
常危险的，所以不能单独操作使用。
您需要的是mist type 低温加湿器，类似walmart 卖的那种。我没有用过，不过根据您
的要求，给点建议，也不一定对，供您参考：可以选择纯水容量大一点的mist 加湿器
或者Ultrasonic type 的加湿器，这样每天应该只需加一次水就够了，方便了不少，体
积大的加湿器通常也会给力点，而且mist 发生器通常会安置在较深的位置，噪音也就
相对会轻。至于空气净化需要买另外的空气净化器，可以关注一些air purifier with
hepa filter. |

问题是如果按照说明书里的步骤设置喷雾大小，一晚上下来都用不了
多少水，估计装满一次水能用一星期！我以前的warm mist加湿器
那么多水一晚上就用掉了。所以让我怀疑到底加湿了多少。
霉菌的问题，要加湿过度才会有。我们冬天开暖气很干燥，没这个
问题。
是cool mist的吧。 |

滤网,还得买配套经常换,要不容易滋生病菌
热的不好之处在于容易被烫着

speed, for most people, 10-hour would be more than enough. make sure you
bring flashlight in case you can't make down before sunset. if you take
panorama down (and take mist instead of JMT), slow down at mist, you will be
tired by then and mist is steep and slippery (and dark if you are slow).
you will need two cars, one at 4-mile trailhead, one at happy isle/curry

是coco小姐的香水tester，结果拿到手发现是coco小姐的hair mist。外型一样，size
一样。再看订单，上面确实写的是hair mist。我也算是个香水小爱好者了，买过十几
瓶香水，并且下单之前仔细看又仔细看，觉得不至于“hair mist”那么大几个字在商
品名称里面看不见的。
想起之前也有过一次，也是一个卖家在amazon上卖的，我明明买的是duvet set，结果
拿到手以后发现是花纹一样的sheet set，再回头看订单，上面确实写的是sheet set。
那次也是很奇怪，因为家里一直缺被罩所以特意跑网上选了半天，并且下单的时候还是
和老公一起的，老公也是很心细的人，难道我们两个下单之前左一次又一次确认的
duvet set能买成sheet set？真的是好奇怪。
请问大家遇到过这种情况么？我现在是怀疑真的这两次买东西都是我们看错了，还是有
一些不厚道的卖家故意给错商品。 |

前几天stephenking送给我一份他的新作的邀请函,我刚刚从首映式现场出来。
啊，教育我们要相信政府相信人民军队，搞个人英雄主义和宗教小团体崇拜
是行不通的，好片啊。正当我为干孙子的又一伟大成就无比自豪之时，我心不在焉
的把油门当成刹车了。得，撞了，还是个警车，三厢一下子变两厢了。我的车劲撞，
瘪了几块而已。
警察居然没被撞晕，怒气冲冲的向我冲来，我不慌不忙的摇下玻璃。
警察刚要开骂，顿时吓得一哆嗦:"你，你是stephenking的干爷爷?"

整个欧洲，而希特勒对此极其反感，他为此还专门发明了一个词：“黑鬼化”的艺术，
矛头直指西班牙画家毕加索，后者的艺术和政治思想都与纳粹背道而驰。希特勒看到当
时的艺术有严重的抽象化、暴力化、色情化的倾向，所以呼吁艺术界以希腊、罗马为准
则，进行第二次古典文艺复兴。对于那些还顽固不化，坚持“黑鬼化”下去的艺术家，

跟我的看法差不多阿，希特勒还是很有才干的。但是WASP和犹太人，都是认为除了他们
之外，其他人都是劣等种族，需要清理的，所以他们的民族精神可以学学，但非要看作
是自己人也不太合适。
