他人不错，对于小鱼小虾也很和气，实验室气氛不错。
他的研究方向很广，其实并不限于Systems Biology，虽然近年他都在做
小分子筛选什么的，和Systems Biology的人接触多一些。 |

He got recruited to Harvard from UCSF in mid 90's. He was Marc Kerschner's
favorite 弟子. |

He does good science, and system biology is just new fashionable 马甲 :)
BTW, if you couldn't judge how well their science are, you probably shouldn'
t apply and have little chance to get in even if you do apply. I know all
these labs are competitive to get in. |

据说：
是非常nice得人，对senior和年轻学生都很友善。
真心喜欢科研，实验室现在方向有cell division和chemical genetic。实验室人不算
太多
手底下人出路不错，学生出息的也很多了，tarun kapoor做的跟他很多方向一致，
rising star啊。
另外他出身lineage很好，在细胞生物学界是top人物，跟着他混出路不可能差的。
严格说tim实验室追求方向多样化，（甚至物种多样化），但是还是传统的生物实验室
，不能算系统生物学实验室吧？ |
