I mainly focused on growth and characterization of thin films by Molecualr
beam epitaxy (MBE). The thin films have almost no applications and I have to
rely on MBE. For MBE related positions, they require at least green card.
If someone could recommend, I could have a change in bigger companies which
need general skills in our field.
If any of you could recommend me, I will really appreciate that (:.

exonuclease activity.
My guess is primer and/or product degradation by Taq.
BTW, one small tip for pfx is: using 2X buffer rather than 1X. I got several
cDNA clones by PCR, and none of them disrupt the ORF by this modification.

里,问题是不drugable。
RNAi的好处太多了,不是单个基因控制的diease,你就多弄几条siRNA target多个基因
,甚至整条pathway。这个用small molecular是不可想象的。要说off target effect,
small molecular就更没法控制了。至于RNAi的作用是short term而非long term,这点
跟small molecualr也一样,而且实际上你也不希望吃点药就permanently knock out你的
某个基因吧?
对于RNAi therapy,其实就是个delivery的问题。 |

也不用过分夸大童的意义,因为胚胎学很大程度上是技术活,那个年代也是molecualr
biology得年代,胚胎学(包括gurdon )也被遗忘了很久。
没有yamanaka的工作,gurdon的工作也未必100%就得奖。
当然中国也有很牛的工作,比如前几天michael bishop在我们这里的talk化了30分钟的
时间回顾了中国王振义+张廷栋的 全反维甲酸+As2O3治疗APL白血病的工作,给了很
高的评价。虽然有狗屎运成分,但是这个研究我们是世界最前列得,也是目前为止药物
能几乎治愈的唯一肿瘤。。。 |

molecualr is too high(> 10,000), it will be unsoluble in water, maybe because
of the hrdrogen bond. So probably you can make some more short block of
PVA(probably 80 or 100 DPn). I thin it wil work.

A=Ln[I_{Transmission}/I_{Incident}]=\epsilon c L,
c是吸光组分的浓度,L是吸收光程,\epsilon叫absorbtivity(比吸光度).基于Lamb-Beer's
Law的成分分析也叫 UV/Vis molecualr absorption analysis, 不过精度不高,除非对高
吸光度的成分.但对天然色素,如卟啉类大环色素(P P*吸收带)比吸光度可高达10^4至10^5
L {mol}^{-1} {cm}^{-1}的检出限还是很底的.
不过因为UV/Vis都是带状谱,灵敏度,抗干扰度,没法和AAS,或ICP-AES比啦.Lamb-Beer's
Law的线性区间也不是很大的说.
