了这个FAQ，

似乎是说，effort跟拿多少salary是两码事。比如要是平时有工资的人，就不需要
academic month的salary了，但是academic month的effort还是有的。对吧？
另外，就算加班加点了，多干活了，progress report里面的person month也不能多报
？是这样吧？
感觉小学校就是这点不爽呀。啥事都得自己学。这些administrative的东西，应该有小
秘干的吗。我们这里财务科的人似乎也不是很熟悉业务呀。问他们问题，回答经常似是

我现在是12 month faculty，最近申请到一个9 month faculty position，准备跳。之
前没有任何换工作的经验，所以有些疑问：
1. 本着不伤人品的原则，打算和新东家签了合同后就马上告诉现任东家，但因为是12
个月的职位，想尽量拖到7月底或8月初再辞职，一般单位会同意吗？还是会希望你教完
这学期课立马走人。。我们单位之前是有先例7月份才走的，一般怎么措辞会比较好？
2.新东家的start date是9.1，如果保险10月份才生效，那差不多意味着我有两个月没
有insurance。家里两个娃都在我名下，这情况怎么处理？老公有工作，都是绿卡。换
到他名下，还是用CObra，or underemployment insurance？完全没有头绪。。

Pass， 已经按照网上的要求给他们发了email, 也附上了 order confirmation，也收
到了 $10的rebate 的valid 的 confirmation email 如下：

问题1：这$10的rebate 是他们寄的check给俺吗？

，很快收到了10刀rebate的confirmation，但是没有monthly pass 的confirmation啊
。。。是不是不能用同样的invoice呢？
还有就是，这两个confirmation，是不是看上去一样的？因为我收到的那个
confirmation里，没说到底是哪个，我看没写monthly pass，就自己以为是sign up
bonus。。。

租了一个房,签约上写的是

今天跟房东说30天后搬出，他说我必须付给他下个月整月的房租，否则扣我的deposit
我觉得没有道理.
另外对于开始入住的时间也有争议,我是7月29号看房并且付了定金,但是前住户一直到8
月1号才搬出,而我8月5号才入住,所以我说从8月5号开始.但合同上没有写开始日期,只
有收到deposit的日期是7.29,另外他手写了will move in 8/5/07. 而且我的支票的
memo上也都自己写着rent for 8/5-9/5什么的,他也没有异议过
钱是不多，就是很气人
我想找律师咨询一下,或者上small claim court上去告他该怎么办,之前我想先弄清楚
