For me the low-buyin games are just more relaxed. Played some 2-5 games
before did not bad. Not saying I beat that level, just positive overall
result. My feeling is that 1-2 games are sometime "ruined" by those terrible
players, "fishes" so to speak, and I get lazy in the end...

won't have a chance to do post-mortem analysis.

crashed at a customer site(no debugger installed), you can get the minidump
file and start VS or windbg to debug it(assuming that you have correct pdb
files).The downside is that you have to add extra code to your program to
generate the dump. I am not sure linux/unix needs that.

have an infrastructure that can find issues quickly and recover quickly. And
hold a post-mortem to discuss how to prevent the same mistake by
engineering.
People got fired because they repeatedly miss deadline, or their code
quality is not up to the team standard. It shouldn't take more than 6 months
to know an engineer's capability. |

比是不是有效吧 结果为了省事还不对placebo group做post measurement
就算比较病人的before,after得到一个significant的差异 那也不好解释说这个差异是
placebo effect还是真的就是treatment起作用了 |
