sizing chart. 我觉得我应该选size 50cm， 它的top tube ctr-ctr 是52.5cm. 虽然
seat tube 短了一些，但调整seat post即可，大家有经验，意下如何？谢谢！

com的2013 Motobecane Elite Trail， 都是$370左右，costco买要加8%的税。
新手的眼光看，两个都是24速，都是碟刹，costco贵，但是不爽了退货方便。

The above is such an enormous load of dung, so I'm not sure if you are just
amazingly poorly informed, or simply a liar.
The Mavic Aksium is an okay wheel. It is reasonable quality, reasonably
durable and has terrific hubs with cartridge bearings. It is not very light
for a wheel dressed up like a factory lightweight. The Vuelta thingy is
really just a super cheap wheel disguised as a nice wheel. In this day and

? How much speed do we lose on these hybrid bike vs. on road bikes assuming
equal effort? I think hybrid would be more comfortable to ride on and it can
handle wider range of terrain conditions (like gravel road). If it has
comparable performance as the road bike, I am inclined to get a hybrid bike.

，加一些paved trails。
我现在有一辆WalMart买的 MTB，只能用来在公园里骑骑，用来上班是不行的。想要买
一辆适合上班的车。我在网上查了查，也看了看 Bikeforums.com之类的。大家好象比
较推荐 touring bikes，主要是因为它wheel base 比较长，稳当，比较牢靠经操，还
可以装racks 和fenders。我上班是需要带laptop和午饭的，所以想要有个rack。
fenders我不是很确定，加州这里夏天基本不下雨，冬天有下雨，但我可能会避免在下
雨天骑，这样的话还有必要装fenders吗？
大家对touring bikes是怎么看的？
如果想买touring bikes，怎么买，买哪个？

定要减肥。减肥无非是“少吃多动”四个字，没什么其他捷径可以走。少吃说起来容易
做起来难，除了吃得少，还要改变不良的饮食习惯，简单说就是早饭要吃好，晚饭要吃
少，少吃白米白面，经常算算卡路里什么的，这些个也都是老生常谈了。多动也不怎么
容易其实，在我这个体重跑步不太现实，对膝盖压力太大，游泳不错，但我游得不快也
不是很感兴趣，起不到太好的锻炼效果。剩下的比较合适的一个是gym里面的椭圆机，
一个就是骑车。这两个基本就同步开始了。
骑车的刚开始时很痛苦的，从target花了150买了一辆看起来还不错的车，上班的六迈
我要停下来歇两次，总共要花一个小时，回家的时候门口的大坡从来都是推上去。那个
时候mitbbs上deling挑头开了自行车运动版，我也从上面慢慢学到了很多东西，也渐渐
不满足target的烂车了，后来在bikesdirect网站上面花700块钱买了一辆还说的过去的
入门级公路车，Motobecane Vent Voir。回过头来看，开始骑车这个决定给我的生活带

发帖数: 1052 | 40 今天到local bike shop里给新买的车子做fitting。受了些打击，也得到些教训，
和大家分享一下。
我在bd上买的车，800，MOTOBECANE, VENT NOIR。此车在进店后就被师傅一顿奚落，认
为其frame很烂，wheel也烂（这个还是bd网上重点吹嘘的，说是值500云云），骑长途
不行，spoke坏了还没处换。他们店有价格差不多的trek 1.2就比此车好。
一顿闲话后开始fitting。先量身高。我一直以为自己5'8"还多点，可能因为脱了鞋，
在那儿量成了5'7.5"了，stand over 31”不到。结果问题就来了，虽然在卖车的网站
上我的身高在54cm的范围内（5尺7到5尺9），我最后买的也是54cm，师傅认为最合我的
尺寸是52cm。差2公分的代价是要把座位调低，低到seat post几乎没有空间可用（就只
能按一个灯了）。因为handle bar太远，只好把stem调的往上翘一点来缩短距离。最后
师傅还说handle bar也宽了，但是没有办法调。他还让我试了一辆合我尺寸的trek 1.2
，handle bar短了以后还真觉得舒服不少。 |

这些个零零星星都讨论过，比如饼干桶和老三的情况我就差不多都知道。
我自己的情况是：
Q：how long is your ride?
A： 6.5 miles one way
Q: what kind of bike do you use?
A: Bikesdirect.com买的Motobecane Vent Vior, 105+Tiagra混合的road bike。挺想
买一个Fixed gear，但是没钱，也担心上坡骑不动
Q：do you have other bike for rec ride?
A：rec ride也用这个
Q：do you use fender? rack?
A：雨季开始的时候装上挡泥板，夏天拆掉。这两天在考虑是时候装挡泥板了。没有
rack。
Q：Do you use bike light? If so, what kind?
A：Seattle冬天4：30天就黑了，不用灯是不行的。背上背一个红色的闪灯，前面车把
上装了一个大灯，REI买的，忘了牌子了，明天可以去查，还不错。今年考虑头盔上再
绑一个爬山用的头灯。

better equipped for nasty commute conditions.
with cyclocross tires, i bet you can ride most california xc trails on it.
very nice bike to ride on fireroads.

看了一天的车，也去了俩车店，结论是： 贵
打算入门为好，但还想有点升级空间，所以专注配有shimano 105级别的，可惜都要
1800以上。但也有收获，和车店里的员工聊聊收获很大的。顺便买了specialized的鞋
120刀和一副打折的shimano ultegra pedal, 80刀，和ebay上比是平价，比local店算
是小deal吧。
转为ebay,看到这辆，只有rear derailleur是105,其他都是tiagra。大家看看是不是
deal? tiagra比105能差多少啊？
