我不知道原来离家8 miles 的地方就有一个世界遗产——在国内，只要被列入了
世界遗产的，当地旅游部门肯定是大作特作文章的，比如苏州，拙政园在我呀呀学语的时
候本地人总是可以凭园林优惠券免费进入的——当然园林优惠券也是以户口上的人头分发
的，不要钱。后来就是有了优惠券也要交点钱，再后来优惠券没了，价格也涨了，等到我
读了大学，假期的时候带着慕名而去的同学玩的时候发现那个小破园居然涨到了60元——
还是淡季的时候，旺季要80元，还没学生票，想来全是因为被遗产了的。
所以在我期末做完关于苏州园林的presentation后，老师也兴起即席做了关于cahokia
mounds的presentation, 才知道原来离家这么近的地方就有个遗产— |

shoreview好，这儿属于Mounds View 学区，这个学区还包括好多别的地方North Oak,
Arden Hills, Mounds View ，他们之间有啥区别呢？
在Shoreview中国人多的小区是那些？

hill也可以上mounds view 但好像没校车？你最好问清楚。
north oak算是富人区吧，以前是gated community, 但现在已经不是了。
shoreview， north oak， arden hill的环境很好但房子普遍比较老。想住豪宅&上好
学区，你应该去Edina或wayzata.

房子很旧，不管多么轻的走路，地板都会之嘎吱嘎响，清洁状况也不是很好
而且离mounds view也不是特别近 |

我可以一周在家工作两天。朋友推荐 flower mound. 对这个地区的确没有研究。在网
上看学区还可以。离公司距离还算可以。板上说这个地区致癌，真的吗？跟frisco比，
那个城市更好一些？主要指未来的房价走势。
现在 frisco 太火了，中国人许多都住那里。

，又在修路，commute时间不一定更少。Southlake就算了，房价给炒的虚高，想买也未
必能买上。 |

发帖数: 1542 | 18 Flower mound cancer cluster是5，6年前传出来的。估计那时镇竞选，在野党搞出来的
。主要是反对当时的镇政府鼓励开天然气井。其实西边的城市都是鼓励开油井的，可以
多收税，包括south lake.
东边的比较好，没看到什么油/天然气井
但又听说frisco哪个地方很久以前是个什么埋金属还是什么的垃圾场。

great as the property tax is tad bit lower than surrounding areas
我住Flower Mound 我们公司有个韩国老哥也住, 基本没老中, 你要是来买房就是我知
道的第一个老中了lol, 不过隔壁Coppell应该有一些老中. 这边基本都是离退休人员.
老印也没怎么见到
Cross Timbers和long prairie交界那里基本什么店都有, 位置挺方便的. Grapevine的
AMC也不错, 去rockledge park也很方便
缺点很明显, 飞机声音很大, 而且越往南越明显. 不过这附近都这样..
另外离Southlake不远顺便占点富人的光lol |

代才过了一半，猴急个啥呀!! 结果，在Decade剩下的一半里 ，洋基赢了四次，

上一章写过了本世纪初洋基红袜响尾蛇交相辉映的那个时代，现在终于开始轮到写我最
熟悉的这批当代牛投们了。。。SI曾评选过一个MLB在00-09年间的all-decade team，
结果深与我心有戚戚焉--五位rotation投手就是我上一章写过的那三位大牛Pedro，
Johnson，Schilling，再加上新生代的两位翘楚Halladay & Santana。的确，如果要写
这个世纪以来最好的投手们，我心里大概有一个六七个人的名单，其中Doc本来就是排
在第一位的，他是我心目中这个时代的顶尖投手的代表，是ace of the aces，而现在
他的去世更坚定了我要用专门的一章来dedicate给他的想法，就像其他爱他的人用
youtube上的tribute videos来纪念他一样，希望能够向这位在我熟悉棒球的年代最稳
定最有统治力最优秀的投手致以一份深深的景仰和敬意(当然，还有无尽的惋惜与伤痛)。

Plano 以前学区很好，但现在好多学校都不是exemplary了，主要是3所高中都不是了。
另外提到的几个区学校比Plano都要差一些。 |

feet了
tunnel侧面mound下面还发现一个口，从里面掏出一大把储藏的干草根，不知道是
storage 还是nest, 于是放了三个trap, tunnel 两端各一个，storage 出口也放了一
个以防万一

特克帝国），底比斯（埃及），大津巴布韦（南部非洲），西安（中国），卡霍基亚（
