2. 同等学位OPT只能用一次，你用了一个MS OPT再读另一个MS不会有新的OPT，只有再
读完Ph D才能再用Ph D OPT
3. 这种certificate的情况我不了解，但如果是和MS Degree同level，那你下一个
degree可能
没有资格申请OPT。你贴的链接里的example都是获得更高学位之后用之前/之后的stem
degree申请extension，和你的情况还是不一样的

虑到这房子以后也难卖，而且每年要多交一两千flood insurance。那个小区一两百户
，就那个房周围10户左右在flood zone. 我们都这么犹豫，将来的买家也会得。

来到新州２年，总算买到房子，想分享一下买房过程，供大家参考
１首先确定买房的区域，这是由多种因素共同决定的,比如:承受价位,学区考虑,夫妻双
方工作地点，resale value,地税的多少，人口构成，治安情况，交通便利etc
1-1先说说承受能力吧，新州的地税全美最高，经常很多房子地税高过mortgage，不是
假话，很多town税高的吓人，而且还每年上调。一般来说在union county附近，相同的
大小房子summit的地税最高，高过westfield＞new providence>scotch plains＞
berkeley heights>watchung，warren＞north edison>mountainside.所以最好买税前
收入２－３倍的价位房子,风险会小些.可能我比较保守，但是我觉的在NJ住大房子不值

最近在看房子，lender说房子在flood zone AE. 后来在https://msc.fema.gov 上查了
一下，好像很大一片都是在flood zone. 想问问大家是不是休斯顿很多地方都在flood
zone里面? 那一般flood insurance要多少钱？大家能接受在flood zone的房子么还是
要果断放弃？ 多谢啦 |

现在也有些矛盾，之前有个做模特的女的和她男友想租，她把去年的w2给我了，上面地
址是出租房隔壁的小区
现在关键问题是，她只给我们寄了个1099 msc，上面第一栏是个房地产管理公司的名字
，其余都是空的，就是第七栏“nonemployee compensation”写的30k，可我这个房子
一年的租金就要25k。
真不知道该不该租给她。 |
