~1.5 yrs work experience at a start-up, finally finishing up my MSEE
(more like CE with a focus on networks) at a 2nd-tier school.
Thesis work is on real-time scheduling(boring, I know). Experience with
wired and wireless networks, can code in C/C++ (not very skilled
though, but willing to study and prepare for interviews).
some knowledge on embedded linux and cross-platform development.
Excellent performance reviews from former employer, I quit because I

小弟MSEE刚毕业，有一点嵌入式的经验，想在手里有两个offer，请大家给点意见：
公司A：是我现在实习的公司，主要是产品是光纤通信和wireless backhaul啥的，用的
编程语言是python，给的薪水是7万多吧，马上办h1b
公司B：做路由器和交换机的公司，我去了主要是开发L2/L3的协议，但是一年以后才办
h1b，工资很少5万多吧，第二年后调到正常工资
感觉第一家公司用python的话以后跳槽麻烦，去通信公司一般要c/c++, 去做网站的话
，咱啥framework或database又都不会，感觉有点两难。
PS: 我的OPT今年5月开始，公司B加入了E-verify； |

standards and know how to implement them if the situation calls for it

reasonable given that the position is for someone with 5+ years of
experience if I am not mistaken)
I'm MSEE myself and have a research background very similar to LZ's
(MANET)
but my hands-on experience is rather limited, thanks to all those SoCs
with a variety of daughter-card options which come with pretty much

NC. $55000 here is equivalent to $70000 in NJ.
Also think about the offer as the starting point of your career. After you

主要是工作经验欠缺阿，如果你是做硬件的。好好积累经验，将来一定会更好的。 |

工作主要是一些LED和其他消费电子的电路设计, 上过两门power electronics, 但没这
方面的经验, 感觉应该不会很复杂, 因为公司之前只有一个designer, 包办了所有
hardware和firmware. |

最近拿到了工业功率电子方面的两个offer，都要我马上做出决定。因为其中一家为洛
杉矶的企业，我很不熟悉，请这里的各位xdjm帮我分析一下，该选择哪一个？还需要什
么信息请让我知道，非常感谢。
另：我即将满30，未有家室。
公司A：美资公司在上海的分公司，分公司业务才展开，正在不断投资中开拓亚洲市场
中，做的工作75%技术（偏应用），25%市场，薪水在税后14-15万人民币每年，给的职
位是Senior Enineer，保险公积金同其他国内的外企一样，其他的福利基本没有什么了
。就工作内容方面我觉得比B要好一些：目前的业务公司高层非常关注，中方高层是我
原来公司的老板（虽然之前隔得比较远，不太熟悉），而且因为之前业绩起点低，我认
为做出成绩，成为核心人员的可能性比较大；另外转Marketing的机会也不少。
公司B：美资公司在加州的总部，业内领先，做的工作90%为技术（偏重产品定义和测试

license要4个月才能批下来。但是我拿到OPT以后90天以内必须找到一份工作，所以
intel问我能不能先找份别的工作比如volunteer之类的先干着，等export license批下
来了再过去上班。我记得我原来好像在网上看到过有人是先工作着，然后再边工作边等
export license的，但是我现在找不到原文了。不知道这样行不行，或者大家有什么好

这些招聘信息，发简历。
第一轮努力是从去年11月到去年年底， 大概投了6家公司，都是local,全部拿到on-
site.但是全黄了。 完了之后，痛定思痛，认真总结后有如下几点原因：
1， 口语不咋地，碰到有种族偏见的老美，或者自以为英语很好的烙印，无形中就被歧
视了， 人家看你不顺眼，你就是天才人家也要fail你。
2, 应聘的是EE里面的较传统的方向，行业里面很少有外来人群，所以人家通常都喜欢
找native speaker. 去年暑假在一公司实习，被一个南美华侨狂K， 整天刁难我，挤兑
我，公开歧视我，三番五次的去BOSS那里投诉，说我英文不好，根本无法沟通。 但是
也好，练就了我的城府和忍耐度，nice....
3,运气不好，据我推测去onsite的几家公司好多都是叫我去打酱油性质，很多可能都内
定了。
4，简历有待改进，需要突出自己的优势，按照不同公司的要求修改简历，所以自此以
后我每投一个公司都为它单独新建一个文件家，做特别针对的简历。
