STAUNTON, Va. (WVIR) -
Authorities have located remains they believe are of two missing motel
owners after questioning a man apprehended in Staunton.
Twenty-seven-year-old Steven Richard Mulkey was arrested Monday, September
24, at the Hometown Inn on Lee Jackson Highway. Investigators say he was a
maintenance man at the Siesta Motel owned by 77-year-old Ching Kao and his
wife, 76-year-old Siumei.
Two bodies were found in a wooded area of Leeds, Alabama on Tuesday.
