RadioShack的multimeter带PC interface。
我们想在PC上以1ms的sampling rate读multimeter.
可是RadioShack的软件最多只能到1底sampling rate.
请问谁有软件能读RadioShack的multimeter?
或者其它multimeter支持PC interface 1ms的sampling rate？

1. Locate the fuel tank of your car. There should be a wire near the tank
with a tan color – this is the “fuel sender feed wire”, which indicates
to the fuel gauge how much gas you have left in the tank of your car.

确认可以用multimeter直接测电流。而且这反而给我提供了便利，因为不像测电压的话
要电源啦noise filter啦等等省了一堆接线，毕竟那么多photodiode接线，焊起来得多
少工程量啊。
楼里有些同学可能对我一些描述有误解。现在能电脑编程读取数据的digital
multimeter几百刀就能买到。relay现在几十刀就能买到multichannel的，可以用VB，
labview等等等等编程。当然既然能直接测电流，relay控制用DMM测电流的方法就没必
要了。我没有什么单片机的经验，现在市面上已经有便宜的arduino等单片机的竞争对
手，提供board可以用PC编程控制，完全适合我这种没太多电子背景，又需要编程控制
仪器的人。
最近查资料，发现现在各种board越来越便宜，越来越多我这种不是电子系的人把它们
拿来用。也就是说可能做manufacturing只需要一部分专业搞电子的，提供稳定性价比
高的产品，给客户提供便利，越来越多搞电子的是不是有必要拓展自己的专业范围，未
雨绸缪啊？

春天之前彻底罢工，
眼看着阳光明媚，春风拂面，不能开车窗，实在不爽。
遂在网上作了些ABC学习，动手修车窗。
上星期，按照网上看来的步骤，
拆掉了车门内的panel，
看到了里面乱糟糟的电线，power window的motor,regulator等各种部件，
检查了一下电线的连接等，也没什么问题，
因为手头再没有别的工具仪器，只好作罢，装回车门panel。
回来开了一星期，没出啥问题，证明上次拆装没有问题:)
经过进一步的网上学习，
昨天去walmart买了一个最便宜的multimeter作为自己的终极武器:)，顺便换油，
今天阳光灿烂，决定解决车窗问题，
先拿出multimeter，在家里插座上实践了一下电压测量，works well，
下楼，轻车熟路，拆掉panel，
逐一检查线路，发现全都没有问题，证明是motor死了:(
思想斗争后决定采用从pontiac forum上看来的起死回生大法，
用hammer照着motor使劲捶~~~（原著说要用metal hammer hit hard~~@_@!

Chinatown has mostly converted individual coin meter to multimeter - still
you want to have change/ small notes with you as credit card readers on
those multimeter often do not work). That being said, I got my shares of
parking ticket in Philly so don't feel bad - it is just another form of
paying your parking to the city of brotherly love.

A good set of socket wrench/socket is a must, better
have a set of metric wrenches (10mm, 12mm etc) and
a set of standard (7/16 inch, 1/2 incn etc).
don't cheap out on sockets, they are VERY important,
go get a set of craftman or other name brand.
An automotive diagnositic multimeter is a good buy.
I bought one on Ebay brand new for about $30. It
has voltage, ampage, dwell and many other functions.
Then jack stands or ramps, floor jack, deep
sockets, mallet and all standard issues you use

try to find the connecter in the front corner, just before the door.
then unplug the disconnect, there is 3 lines, one is open door trigger,
another is close door trigger, last one is common line. use a wire to
shortcut the close door trigger and the common one then the safety belt
will always remains rear. you can use multimeter to identify the three line,
when door close, the resistance between door-close terminal and common
terminal will be zero, otherwise ... . that's what i do to my 89' |

可是卸distributor cap不就是要松那两颗螺丝，然后把整个cap给换掉，
根本就没有原来的位置可言，完全要由新的distributor cap的位置来定timing啊。
也许，他们都默认的把新cap钉在上死点（或者下死点），根本就没有要微调timing
的意思。

不在distributor cap上面，cap的位置是固定的。你的是怎么设计的？
对了，你的multimeter在什么地方买的？周末去逛了一圈，发现
还是kentallerton推荐的那个最便宜。local店里面的都要30以上，还是analog的。

如果你不想整，那注意下你的MPG和动力状况,当你MPG减少的时候或动力不足，o2
sensor 可能 就有问题了，因为它是检测排气中AIR FUEL RATIO回馈给ECU提示它下次
喷多少油。不过最准确的方法是用multimeter测sensor（网上有视频）
如果只是exhaust manifold o2 bung那有裂纹，肯定是只换header |

1.最好先找到原因再更换O2 sensor，而且O2 sensor工作是否正常可以用multimeter测
得，youtube上有教。filter如果用了2年没换，不管CEL亮不亮都要换了。filter跟CEL
没有直接关系，它只可能因为工作不良（杂质进入intake中）造成intake中MAF sensor
过脏而误报intake air量。对于CEL灯，说个基本常识：汽车内的原件如果有问题，有
些哪怕你刚reset ecu（灭了CEL），他会立马就亮；有些是reset后开一小段时间后才
亮，所以说dealer给你搞的injector cleaner应该不是问题所在。
2.要知道injector cleaner的目的：dealer用这个一般说明的是air/fuel ratio不正常
，fuel过少，而引起fuel少的最基本（其它原因也可导致fuel的问题）的原因是：fuel
pump；fuel filter；injector问题。既然dealer已经加过了，不管是不是这个原因你
自己最好不要再加了，一般是5000mile一cycle

一个是电池时间，用了4~5年了，就该换了。
老是不开，一停就几天，要开业开不了2mile就上班了，电池寿命大减，本来能开6年的
，4年就完蛋了。
天热没事，天一冷启动不了的，一般是电池问题。
jump start好几次了，天天也开30分钟，还不行。那就是说早该换了。
一般如果开30分钟以上，再发动就没有问题的，基本就排除发电机的毛病了。
当然还有的starter有问题。如果车子小与8万mile,基本上也不会是starter有问题。
当然，可能很多人是理工科的，实验室就有很多万用表，测一下，低于10V就不用想了
，低于11V的，还可以想办法救一下。 |

发帖数: 3343 | 48 If you can jump start the car each time, it's probably not starter problem. Since the battery is new, I'm wondering if you have loose battery connection, electric leak or bad alternator(not enough charge to battery).
You can start the troubleshooting w/ a multimeter first:
- measure battery voltage w/o starting the car after car sits overnight
if > 12.5v, battery is fully charged
- measure battery voltage when car is running.
if > 14v, alternator is good
