在江西师范大学瑶湖校区，提到外教Connie Gibson（康妮·吉普森），很多学生肯定不会陌生，这位年近七十、体态丰满、和蔼可亲的“美国大妈”在任教的15年中创办了Connie演讲班，其学生在国内多项演讲大赛中拔得头筹。2010年，她不幸被查出患有癌症，如今情况持续恶化，必须回国接受治疗，恐怕她再也无法回到江西师大的讲台，回到她深爱的学生们当中了。
6月13日晚，Connie的学生们为她举行了一场送别派对，其中不少人是从国外专程赶回来的，他们用自己的方式感谢这位带给他们爱与成功的好导师。
