上上周，我去stanford取一个实验要用的样品。来去都坐的caltrain。这是我第一次用
clipper card 买票，以为它的工作原理和muni上的打卡器差不多。
回程，在火车站等车时，我比较漫不经心地打了一次卡（听到长长的一声“滴”就认为
没问题了）。之后看到clipper card machine 上的提示：always have $1.25 in your
card，担心自己的卡里没有足够的钱，于是把卡再次放到读卡器前看看余额，钱够的
。于是就开心地上车走了。
当时我不知道，对caltrian的系统，15分钟内两次打卡，payment取消，等同没有打卡。
于是在车上被查票的工作人员告知：你打了两次卡，实际上等于没有打卡。 我试图解
释，对方说：你不熟悉clipper card 就不应该用它买票，总之你等于没有打卡，等同
逃票，按规定就该给你开罚单。 我一个女生，当时也懵了，不敢跟那个膀大腰圆的黑
人officer 多争。对方记下了我的名字和地址，开了一张黄色的单，上面注明我违反了

一般的路还可以，堵车什么也行。就是不敢开三番的那个大坡。
不知道从montain view/palo alto那边过去到Montgomery St ，如果自己开车的话，会
不会遇到花街前面类似的大坡？
如果开车到附近的Muni station,方便快捷的，怎么过去呢？应该去哪个站？（说是4
blocks up from the Montgomery Bart/Muni station）

It is true that subway in Manhattan is very convenient. 一般大家都不开车，因
为开车的话也很堵，不光是manhattan,像queens, brooklyn, 或者从城外（例如，long
island, Wechester,new jersey开车进城，都会堵的）城市都这样吧。
我平时住在三藩城外，只是每天座caltrain进城上班，所以目前traffic对我的影响不
大，还需要再观察。到目前为止除了去上班的地方，其他只去了三藩城里的两个地方，
（坐bus到中国大使馆和Muni到Stonetown mall）. 到了晚上Muni不frequent，花了好
长时间等。
同意South/East Bay比较适恰有family， new york更容易meet new people.One
character about new york is continuously meeting new people but hard to keep
a long term friendship/relationship.

Potrero Hill/CHINA BASIN总是SUNNY,交通方便MUNI轻轨从3街到DOWNTOWN.就是房租贵.
SF城外沿BART沿线找安全的地方,ORINDA/LAFAYETTE/WALNUT CREEK/ ALBANY/CASTRO
VALLEY/PLEASANTON/DUBLIN/FREMONT.
EMERYVILLE靠近BAY STREET也挺安全,有TRANSBAY BUS到DOWNTOWN, EMERYVILLE地区要
远离 SAN PABLO AVE. |

可能只有muni的某种月票可以在Bart在旧金山的几个站使用。
你如果确定你乘坐的次数，可以直接购买这个价钱的Bart票。票价是8.25/SFO-Powell
每次
Bart没有什么省钱的办法，有一种所谓的折扣票，叫做BART Blue High Value Ticket
，缴纳45元，可以当48元花，也就是说省3元钱，好体贴啊。
如果你三天每天往返一次，那就是8.25*6=49.5元。买那个45元的票就好，可以当48元
使用。最后一次使用的时候，出站之前在补票机上补1.5元就好了 |

light rail的线路就是路面上铺了两道铁轨。汽车都可以走。
BART不管他有几条线进SF, 进了SF也就是沿着Market Street一条线。远离Market
Street你基本就是screwed. 等到Central Subway修起来加一个dimension会稍微好
一点。现在SF的公共交通就是一 joke 。

两个沿线都可以，需要注意的是周末和晚上没有red shuttle, 这期间你如果打算来校
区， 有新开的16st bart过来的公交车
我知道的mission bay的人几个方向，
Muni (旧金山地铁／trolley）- inner richmond/inner sunset坐muni直接到校门口 (
最轻松），她合租单独房间1000块；
Bart-
san bruno坐bart转red （凑合），单独房子2500， 或者oakland, emeryville,
berkeley找 （berkeley过来也要1个多小时，来回还是久）， bart从 fremont什么的
东湾过来时间巨久，过了fremont又没坐的，每天站的累死 ，晚上周末还得倒车，不推荐
caltrain-
找baby bullet 站点，30分钟内到的baby bullet 包括millbrae, hillsdale, redwood
city或者san mateo (limited)

i wasnt playing well, but made 0 3-putt.
i was very happy about my putting at that time, only later chatted with
others, and found out, sunnyvale muni green is very slow.
so, the course/green itself (different pin position as well) would make the
putting score different.
of course, how to get on green also plays a big role, but i can see my
improvement over this year, cant imagine i would hit worse than last year,

course), ended up finishing 9 holes.
On Sunday, played a full 18 holes at the Bridges, a much harder course with
faster green.
for both rounds, around the green or 80 yards within, i used the new wedge
as much as possible.
for the 9-hole, I finished with +2, 2 bogey, 7 par (5 GIR, 2 save), the 2
bogey are 1 chip + 2 putts when i missed GIR. for the 5 GIR, 2 of them I
used the wedge to get on green.

muni 多的是。 用coupon就跟便宜一些。 w/o cart even cheaper. most muni
suitable for walking with its hole to hole adjacent to each other closely.
while my impression that better courses often requires cart because getting
to next tee from previous green is long way sometimes.
you can play SuperTw at most better courses for 30.

local muni, 561yard par 5. 用Google map, 260 + 213 = 473meter = 517yard.
好几次开球好的时候都怀疑怎么有2on 的可能？？
总之， play shorter than yardage sign 的 muni holes 多的是。
不过， 不用gps/range finder 测距离的好处是
少一些对打短了的失望，
多一些对“long hitter” 陶醉！

registered handicap is 12. I shot my handicap. The field had 15 players. The
net winner was -5. The gross winner was -1. The course was played at a muni
course. So many single handicap shot 80s.
The guy in my group won the net first place. Last time he played was the
Ratter Cup. It was amazing. He took back home with about $625. |

步行到Powell Street去乘MUNI Subway去Embarcadero Center, Pier 1,
然后可以乘F MUNI去Pier 39即渔人码头，乘轮渡去看监狱岛。
要是对校园有兴趣，乘BART去看伯克利。

离BART(地铁)都很近.Muni巴士也是满城跑.Muni我一般只做一两路,所以不是非常熟悉,
