Chena hot spring resort 里面好多日本人，就像夏威夷一样，也许没像Holonunu那
么密集,那是因为阿拉斯加离日本也很近，飞5,6个小时，日本到夏威夷也是大约5，6个
小时，阿拉斯加 到夏威夷岛多少小时呢？5个小时！没想到吧？因为他们同在pacific
ocean 中间，所以很多阿拉斯加人冬天飞到夏威夷。
上次去夏威夷玩，去molokini snorkel,一只船上统共24个人，3个半来自anchorage，
还有一个从在anchorage长大， 嫁到它州的。
我又想起了一个笑话：一个游客问导游：你们阿拉斯加什么时候能看到鲸鱼mate?导游
答曰：in January in Hawaii, like Alaskans do.
到了之后才知道hot spring 在外面，要穿着泳衣在6F 度的外面 |

Hitting a sitter is a lot better than hitting it into the net, especially
if you plan to do it more than 10 times during a match. A bad dropshot
beats a suicide dropshot.
If you don't have the feel, you make more UEs hitting flat dropshots
than high dropshots. If you have the feel, it's the same. It's all about
the percentage and it's simple physics really.
If opponent can run, you shouldn't rely on dropshot in the 1st place.

算太晚。
1。机票从Alaska Air定。SFO< —> Fairbanks
2。Hotel： 本来打算住Chena[chi;na] hotspring resort, 可惜那里非常紧俏，提前
一个月已经没有空房。理由迟点再说。所以转到hostel $30ppl/day, 地址还不错，也
能看到极光， 不过在温泉里看极光的感觉更好，所以我们晚上还是去hotspring
resort看， 距离是往东再开一个小时。

去年冬天，我到M城出差。回来那天由于下大雪，飞机晚点了差不多三个小时。我们这
地方是大农村，所以从M城到我们这只有那种坐几十人的支线飞机。大概因为寒流猛烈
，一路上颠簸地厉害，提心吊胆地飞了差不多两小时，终于安全降落。
就在等行李当间，我还在想一会儿开车麻烦了，大雪肯定把车都埋了。。。突然听到有
人用典型的chinglish问我，can i borrow your cellar phone？
我扭头一看，原来是个小帅锅，嫩草嫩草的的样子，拖着两个大箱子，看上去很像是同
胞。我把电话递给他。他就到一旁嚷嚷去了。过了差不多10分钟回来还我电话，没忘记
说thank you vely mush。然后，他犹豫了一下问我是不是chinese。
于是我们就直接用国语说话了。原来他是个刚来的小留。今天也是因为飞机晚点，而且

不会低于125，而VR一般是快门60以下才开的，这样一来，也就用不太上了？厂家对这

里说的标准，你对我的程序的判定也是错的，没有根据的。因为它说的是“Mutable
objects must be safely published, and mush be either thread safe or guarded
by a lock.”。我写的程序（在41楼）完全符合它对安全的定义，就是instance变量都
guarded by a lock。
我在66和67楼的回复中说这是OOP encapsulation的要求，不但对constructor，对任何
一个能change internal state的method，都有这个要求。就是你要等change made，才
能去publish/notify外部的其他objects。
而且我说的OOP encapsulation这个知识，是Brian在第三章说的知识的来源。

组，支持5，60号人工厂式的用这种方法去大量的筛GPCR的结构，基本能这样筛出来的
结构都差不多发了（甚至长晶体的条件都差不多），上海发的这些也是stevens实验室
他们这样筛出来的，因为用的美国结构基因组的钱，他们要在一个公开的网站上更新工
作的进展，上面都可以查到几年前这些蛋白的结构工作的进展。不知道他们为什么拿去
中国继续做发文章，不在美国做，可能因为stevens想全职回中国，希望培养自己的势
力，需要paper。另外这两篇nature，同样一个蛋白，结合了3个ligands，结构差不多
，ligangs结合位点有不同，这点其它GPCR里都看到过，很正常，而且不一定跟活性有
关系，就这样硬生生拆成两篇发，唯一可能的原因是purigergic receptor的药物靶点
重要性，即便这样，no idea how they got the second one published, mush have
bargained with Nature.

purpose processors (POWER, SPARC, X86 etc.) since the GPU is computation
intensive rather than control intensive..
when i say "consume too mush power", i compare the GPU with FPGA targeting
at certain DSP application..such as encoder, decoder, MIMO detector, etc..
The latest FPGA can achieve TOPS per-chip capacity with dedicated fixed
point DSP units..but if you require aggressive floating point computation,
using GPU is |
