发帖数: 187 | 33 第三天的目标是完成整个Frame。除了象民工一样钉钉子，拧螺丝。
还要在接一个34-Feet的EdgeBoard。三块板要连成一条直线。由于
Joist Wood的自身缺限，保持直线几乎花了我们一整天的时间。
放最后一块17-Feet的EdgeBoard之前，又把所有的直角重新
确定了一下。建Frame的过程中用到了许多的Clamp来加固和CornerClamp
来确定直角。
有人问我用的是Nail还是Screw。我用的是8D Galvanized nail。Screw到
现在为止大概用了4磅。主要是用来连接两条长木板（Joist）用的。
关键部位用的Screw比较多。如果全都用Screw比较好。但是比较费时。
有人问我为什么选择做Deck而不是铺水泥。我喜欢出了Living Room不下
楼梯的感觉。铺水泥或者Paver需要一些专用工具。我没有PickUp，运输
是个大问题。而且铺水泥没有了WoodWork的乐趣。
有人问我如何保证土地不沉降。我的后院SitIn两年多了。走过一些比
较重机械。我用了比较多的Post。受力比较平均。颁发Permit的Engineer
也认为应该没有问题 |

Depending on what you plan to use this for? If the compressor is only used
to drive finish nails or brads, even the smallest compressor is enough. If
you plan to use air tools to work on your cars, this may not be enough.
For the people only plan to use compressor to drive nails, it is better to
get a cordless nailer. You don't have to drag a compressor and hose around.
But compressor is necessary if you have other air tools. |

loose nearby shingles so you can get the under player part off. Then you can
buy a piece of shingle from HD and put it back to replace the old one. You
need to use roof nail to tighten shingles. And use roof chulck covering

吗？我用手摸了一下。现有地面非常的粗糙，很强的颗粒感。不是水泥地，是一块块大
板子。板与板之间有缝隙，敲起来声音空空的。
我觉得pad还是需要的。可以防潮，隔音，找平。
2. 铺 engineering wood 用glue down 还是 nail down 好？两个contractor 各执一
词。
现在流行的不是floating floor?glue和nail都不需要吧。
3. 家里现有一个房间是地板，seller说是glue down的。马上要撬起来，一个
contractor 说要重新找平，另一个说会非常小心撬不会破坏subfloor的。到底谁说的
对？
旧地板留着不是挺好？多好的subfloor啊。 |

买了home legend 1/2"的engineered wood floor。instruction里写着是应该nail
down或glue down的
虽然会void了warranty,但我偷懒了，铺个roberts premium 3 in 1的underlayment，
就直接用tongue and groove粘在一起。
选了一个小房间来试验看看效果如何，可惜今天花了6个多小时才铺了半个房间左右，
很是失败
期间有些问题出现了：
1. 墙不直，然后刚刚开始时候很麻烦，用了spacers，但是怎么弄都很别扭，板直了，
gap一边宽一边窄，gap宽度一样了，板就歪了。
现在铺了半个房间，那个gap是一边宽一边窄，宽的还好，没超过1/2"，然后quarter
round还是可以盖住的。
2. subfloor不够平，现在发现房间一个角落明显陷下去的，估计是以前是床的位置，
所以现在另一边会翘起，不知道这样会不会引起问题。
请问有什么好建议吗？我应该继续float on吗？还是老实换成nail down? |
