在意影响因子，不干生物却甚于生物。在流体力学之外，他显然也打起了化学＋纳米＋
材料的主意，他喜欢被attention，追流行。有几篇文章nanoparticle, nanorod 是关
键词。这篇PRL的文章是他独立之后的有限的亮点文章，但却走的是nanopore（这里是
micron size)的路线，主要是实验数据总结，强的理论基础看不出来。可以预见，这哥
们儿去了南方科技大，一定会与那里的纳米灌水风气相结合，搞出很多他想要的高点数
文章来。
另，25篇文章中与其PhD 老板的文章有10篇，够成了他迄今为止有限文章引用数的绝大
部分。

申请学校时候怎么看学校哪一个方向最强？比如control/ vibration/ Heat/ Fluid/
Mech/
Design，或者再specialized比如combustion/ engine control/ nanofluid/ MEMS这类。
关键是有没有不去campus visit就可略知一二的办法呢？求各位前辈指教。
或者哪些有经验的讲讲，比如Stanford， MIT，UCB，Caltech各怎样 还有U of

收到过几个电话面试，之后就没音讯了。。。。因为各种原因，在美国6年基本上没有
机会认识在美国的机械专业的朋友（没参加过学术会议，导师也只有我一个学生），也
不知道怎么修改简历，在找工作上也只能摸石头过河。想了下还是想在咱们版里发个求
助帖，麻烦大家帮我看看有没合适机会。
我是去年八月从University of Central Florida毕业的ME PhD, 主要方向是thermal
fluid。本科和硕士在武汉的高校读的，专业是热能与动力工程。我有8年以上的数值模
拟的经验，本科和硕士做的是电站锅炉里的煤粉燃烧的数值模拟，主要模拟工具是
ANSYS Fluent。除了用数值计算软件，我也有在大型开源代码的基础上添加过自己的程
序块的经验。来美国以后我做过一些simulation的课题： 用Fluent和Chemkin做过一年
的对冲火焰的点火以及温度和组分分布的计算；用GPU里面的N-body模块来模拟
