因为直接pp，140不是efile，140表和其他材料29号uscis收到， 30号给我发了email，
才知道receipt number。所以错过了pp start 时间。估计不是29就是30号pp clock
start，之后一直是acceptance。8月7号早上东部8点半收到短信说pp clock stop，半
个多小时后刷新页面看到approve的信息。看来有io 很早7点多就上班了啊。
感谢大家的祝福还有很多热心朋友的帮助。在这里写点我的经验回愦本版。
DIY, 自己整整花了将近3个月的时间整理，写PL, RL，claim了老三样：authorship，
contribution，review。
8 recommendation letter，4封美国，英国，德国，新加坡，加拿大各1。8封中2封是
journal editor，verify了我的review 工作，同时也confirm了我在领域内的
contribution。严格的独立RL只有3封。自己以前phd老板和现在老板信各一。

景色很美. 个人体会:
Ledges is most scary part for me because it is the first part, and it is first
time I walk in such steep ledges. however, it is become not that bad on the
way back.
Trough: phsically chanlenging, need to take break every 10 minutes, felt
exhausted, but not tmidating.
Narrows: easiest part among the four, even it is narrow. and it is short.
Homestrech: nobody would return since you make that far. it is similar as

Zion最著名的两条trails, 一是the Narrows, 二是the West Rim Trail & the Angele
's Landing.
Narrows我们走最简单的由河流下游向上游方向，走到Orderville Canyon往返约5
miles, 到Big Spring往返约10 miles. Big Spring往上需要申请permit了，我们最远
就此打住。因为是原路返回，所以视大家当天的心情想走多远走多远，不需要一定走到
最远。
the West Rim Trail & the Angele's Landing是从山顶走到山脚，基本上大部分时候
是下坡路，偶尔有小上坡。在大约12miles左右的地方到达Scout's Lookout, 这里往上
爬500ft就是the Angele's Landing. 爬完the Angele's Landing回到Scout's Lookout
大约2.5miles下山路到山脚trailhead.

I-66 -> I-495 -> I-95 (不建议)想省3块钱， 进隧道前, 进Baltimore城里，
Chesapeake Bay Bridge, ( 不建议）想省8块钱, 过桥前， 走155N， 接route 1， 小
路太多， 绕的太远。I-95上的MD/DE收费站，（建议）在Exit109 下，去Newark DE方
向，见到route2/4右转，见Route 896再右转，行驶半英里回到I-95N，省6块。出DE进
NJ，（建议）走I-295，和NJ Turnpike 一个方向，免费（将近20块）。接US Route 1
， 在Edison NJ上I-287S/440N，过Outer Bridge，13块。接I-278N，接495E，接678N
，在Northern Blvd下高速，直接进入Flushing 北面。
补充一下：
1. I-95 Baltimore 隧道已经涨到4块钱了。如果决定不省这4块钱，建议走I-895。I-
895沿线入口较少，traffic少，交通比I-95顺畅。

威德炮台
坐落在纽约史坦顿岛海岸线上的威德炮台，始建于1847年至1862年期间，以抵御外

，是美国最古老的军事据点。这座军事基地直至1994年才被弃用，目前由国家公园服务
