家庭，母女屋或是可以变成母女屋的一家庭，价格不超过75万， 离曼哈顿中城90分钟
以内door to door的commuting。由于老人不能开车，需要在走路范围内有进城的火车
、公车、和大超市。又由于我们又没手艺又没时间，所以房屋不能太破，move in
condition最好， 学区要求主要是primary school要好，高中好当然更理想，不过宝宝
还小，十年之后的事计划赶不上变化，所以不强求。我们看房主要集中在长岛和皇后区
，倒不是不喜欢上州或jersey. 只是宝宝太小，上州和jersey太远，范围又大，没有精
力。
在长岛看过房子的人都知道，最适合华人居住的地方无非几个：bayside, little neck
, great neck, port Washington, Manhasset，Douglaston。我们一开始也不能免俗，

发帖数: 379 | 8 看起来出现了, lol. plan是这样的, 要做一个PRS replicate. body自己弄, neck是买
的. 具体方面有一些和PRS不一样: 整体比PRS小和薄一些, 24 3/4 scale length,
bolt-on neck, 等等就不具体说了
body的上板是这个spalted maple. 难度就是处理这个东西. 话说朽木不可雕也.
这就是一块标准的朽木. 除了最下面一部份和中间几个小地方, 这块木头大部分都是像
碎渣子一样的东西, 黑色部分是海绵状. 这些都是真菌虫子吃剩的晚餐.
琴厂一般不做这个, 因为比较耗人工. 特别是要做出PRS那样有表面的形状比较困难.
作tele或者strat的话要容易很多.
基本上做法的就是要把木材的组织用胶水固定, 然后再雕琢. 而且一层层做下去, 不断
重复这个过程直到满意为止.
大致把形状锯出来以后, 在wood hardener里面泡了4,5个小时, 然后把它压平.
下板是这个black korina
大概锯好然后两片粘起来
上下板我是这样合起来的. 因为上板太脆弱的. 我在中间部分保留了很多下板的空间.

我很喜欢black korina，木纹艺术成分很高。共鸣很好。从制作人的角度来说，它比较
软。容易加工。相对来说mahogany要坚硬很多。
你说的那个rotary switch的设置方式也是我通常喜欢用的。比如以前的一些琴中我通
常会这么做：switch的第一个位置是single coil(humbucker coil tap)，第2个位置是
humbucker，第3个位置是加pre amp/ mid boost的音色，等等等等。这样就好像你有多
个program / bank可以选择一样。而且非常organized.
不过这回我不弄这些。拾音器都是passive的。准备装的电路是一个sustainer。那个
rotary switch是用来控制开关，强度的。
我本来也是改装电路搞起来的，后来不知道怎么就做起木工了。呵呵。基本上市场的各
种pickup switch, pre amp, piezo, variax，midi and their combinations我都可以装上去。

宝宝刚出生时候没奶，来宝宝版上搜精华帖，历史贴，看了好多方法方子，一起上了，
不知道那个起作用了，反正现在供求平衡，宝宝也不是大胃王，也不瘦，就average吧
。最近整理娃儿的衣服，好多衣服就穿了一次，有的就穿起来照了个相就束之高阁了，
所以想说说这两个多月来，给宝宝穿衣服的心得。给其他新妈参考。
背景：娃11月初出生，男孩，比较幸运，中西部今年是暖冬，下雪也少于历年average
，到现在这里只下过一次雪，最冷的时候零下12摄氏度13摄氏度，还不是持续的冷，和
以往的天气有些不同，娃出生9lb， 现在2个半月，14lb 半，头围95％（头大的宝宝选
衣服也需要考虑套头的是否好穿进）
家里空调设置68度－72度，空调指示比较低级，温度是靠温度计看的，屋子大小窗户不
一样，温度稍微有差异。
知道预产期之后给娃娃准备秋冬的衣服，主要分2大类，英文名称繁多，有时候同样式
的名称却不同，所以我归结为 上衣裤子连体的，不带裤腿包pp的，上衣裤子分体的，

1） 首先起始的setup是一个Reverse Head and Shoulder, 最早可以在right shoulder
开始建仓， stop在head 下面一点。
当然，突破neck line, 进行追加，也可以，但是如果neck line上面出现whipsaw, 就
一定要小心了，牛市的时候，可以耐心一点， piggy bearish market， 就要在neck
line下面， 或者right shoulder下面放stop.
2）如果突破了，传统的target是是head到neck line的距离， 41->45, 45->49.
这就是为什么49的位置， 出现了比较长时间的盘整。
大牛市， 可以继续等等， 画好38.2%的stop,
piggy bearish market, 就take profit吧。
3）盘整后，就有了trend line, 这比较重要，看trendline.
后来49 gap up, 有会测了一次，成功反弹，这个gap的上下边缘，都可以成为entry和
stop的位置。

move to Great Neck in Long Island instead. It is closer to Flushing and has
much better school than anywhere in NJ.
As far as commute to the city is concerned, we had 2 criterias:
1) No bus, only by train. (it ruled out Ft Lee, Tenafly and etc)
2) Train ride needs to be less than 30 mins.
We also need a good school district.
So, that left us with only Milburn.

去年我们也在MILBURN，SCARSDALE和GREAT NECK看房。最后我们买了GREAT NECK。
GTREAT NECK的房子确实老一些，我的是１９２８年的，但是对我们来说GREAT NECK的
方便最重要，FLUSHING的美食也最有吸引力。
而且老房子很牢固，我们的装修师傅都说这些１９２８年的TUDOR连炸弹都炸不掉。里
面根本没有DRYWALL，完全是PLASTER，房顶是SLATE的，寿命超过１００－２００年。
没有中央空调，我们就装了分体式，很节能又安静。
房子主要是靠保养。保养得好，１００多年根本不算什么。如果造的CHEAP，又不保养
，５，６年新的房子问题就一大堆。
当然各人要求不一样。中国人很多都喜欢新房子。我到现在都不明白是为什么。。。不
过我们买了房子之后确实也装修了。把所有的厕所都换了。 |

到了纽约，最大的感觉就是像回到了国内。人多，要靠公共交通，市容脏乱差。以前感
觉海归版的讨论关于国内和美国待遇的对比是很无聊的，因为当时觉得中国和美国是两
个完全不同的style，喜欢哪种就选择哪种就是了，没必要讨论待遇。而到了纽约，才
发现，原来纽约和国内是如此的像，至于选择在纽约还是海归，待遇几乎成了唯一的标
准（待遇指相对于物价水平的工资高低）。
大家不要骂我，纽约的生活质量比起deep south来还是低不少的。先说大家能上网看到
的，就是房价。今天刚刚看到一个坑，说纽约附近Jersey City那里一个2br的apt就要
50k-70K，这个钱在deep south各州都能买很大的独栋house了，还不是很差的区。再说
生活，纽约到哪里都要做公交地铁，就算有钱了打车，自己独行还可以，但是要拖家带
