，因为有小孩，想找lead-free 的房子。我们从网上搜到了几个看起来还可以的
apartment complex, 想问问Boston 的xdjm 们有没有知道或住在这些地方的，麻烦介
绍一下情况。
在Newton （可坐地铁绿线或通勤火车）
1. 2300 commonwealth avenue
2. Woodland parks apartment (在grove street上,Green line D 线终点站对面)
在natick (只可以做通勤火车)
1 lakeview gardens

他在Alewife,走2号不算费劲。难度不超过从Newton到Burlington。过了Alewife就算了
吧。

搜获关键字学区，有很多的文章。
如果没有小孩的话，就交通方便的。
有小孩的话，一般都要考虑交通和学区了，像newton，lexington，belmont，
wellesley，needham这些town大家都是仁者见仁，智者见智，观点不一，但
学区好是公认的。。。 当然还有brookline，weston之类的，像brookline的拉丁
算是MA最好的了， weston是全美著名富人区。。。 arlington也不错，安全，
进城方便，但是小学好，高中就差了一些。。慢慢考古吧。。。 |

只是很旧了，再往西边好区就更便宜了。西南Medfield 价格更好而且学区很好， 南边
Sharon好学区价格比Medfield更好。
11万收入， 如果懂得恰当消费的话， 可以过得很不错。

发帖数: 33123 | 15 08年我试过，没买到。Wellsley我出了个48万的offer(1300sqt,好多东西得修)，52万
被个Contractor搞走了。Lexington一个1200sqt,几乎没院子的房子，50万full offer,
我给了（LD一夜没睡着觉),present offer的时候,9个不低于full offer,6个超过,房子
差不多55万成交。Needham同价位的房子更老更小。在那一圈看了100多个房子后我彻底
放弃了。其实50万拿下来对我也是悲剧，首付都还欠点，家具就别想买了。 |

说到social economical class的定义，我记得upper middle 一般指收入要到做得不错
的医生律师的层次，一年要度假N次之类（具体几次忘了）。然后能称到是wealthy的一
般是家族里有old money传下来的，或自己有实业，至少这一年多少多少万的inflow
cash是很stable, sustainable的。

if the job is in boston, I wouldn't bother acton or sherborn. I will waste
a good part of my life on the road.
look at brookline, newton; or wellsley/needham if you don't mind spending
another 10 minutes oneway. If you work in cambridge, look into winchester
and lexington. both are solid towns.
I wouldn't look at westwood either, not in the same tier as the towns

的名字。
题外话， 看到华人摸样的人排队拿oyster，倒是一大景色， 一拿就好多个，全然不顾
后头的顾客， 这使得后面的人等了好半天， 一个也没拿到， 其中愤闷者，包括我的
同吃。我本人喜欢吃生耗，但是在那里一次都没耐心去等取， 光吃熟热蟹。
个人以为吃生耗， 刺身不宜多量。 现代日本人对没煮过的海鲜通常吃得极少，也不
知道是不是由于日本人胃癌比例高的原因。吃生食每次他们只吃一， 两块。
回主题， 楼主问华人多不多， 感觉上Newton华人该是最多了。 以前Needham华人家庭聚会过， 好像就百来家吧？ |
